Good product

This make using the phone so much easier while driving. There is no fumbling around to get the phone, and being able to dial without using the phone is a great feature.

The only problem (minor) is that sometimes I need to try 2 or 3 time to sync with my phone, this has taken up to 5mins.

Great addition.

Easy to install and operate. I love it. Should have waited till now to purchase it because it's $40 cheaper.

Great Safety feature for hands free.

The unit is compact and easily hidden away. I have a PT Cruiser and was able to secure the unit behind the knee blocker (under the steering wheel) and hide the wire for the microphone along trim pieces and behind the A Pillar and tuck the rest into the headliner. The only thing that is visible is the microphone itself and that is very small. I would recommend the product.

BLUETOOTH IT

I would recommend this item to other consumers for the purpose of streaming audio through the deck however i wouldn't if they are looking to use it for the handsfree option. The audio streaming is outstanding I have my Droid X hooked up and I can't tell the difference from it and my iPod. As for the telephonic functions this unit leaves alot to be desired, it cracks the volume levels are low and distroted.

Great Bluetooth for you phone

Great product, easy to install to your existing Panasonic stereo system, takes less then 5 minutes. ease of use, and very clear, cuts whatever input you are listening to when you receive a call, Again very clear reception. The only downside is that it does not have voice dialing capabilities. All in all I would recommend the product.

Thought is was a super deal

I bought this unit to add Bluetooth functionality to my Panasonic DVD system in my car. The deck suggests using the CY-BT100U which is out of production. I installed the CY-BT200U and it did show up on the deck. But it did not work and I had intermittent screen blinking. I sold the panasonic to a guy for $200 and bought the new Clarion VX709 with Navigation and Bluetooth. I am happy as can be!

The CY-BT200U will be going to the next electronics scrap depot.

Good for general use, but could use more volume

The following review is for a previous version (CY-BT100U).

When paying $150 + for a Bluetooth adapter, you expect to get a lot. The ability to have your deck pick up phone calls is great and the answer/hang up switch is awesome. I do wish this unit was a little more clear. I have it turned up almost all of the way, and there are still times that I miss words or even whole sentences. Still, it beats any stand-alone hands-free product I've used and I don't have to worry about muting my music when getting a call. It's also very easy to connect my phone each time my car starts up.

Good product, but only if you have the money. A good headset and a 'mute' button will work just as well.
