Great product, can't go wrong
This is my second one, replacing another panasonic of the same model.
I had the previous one for two years, used it every day about 16 hours a day. The family went through about 15L every day, and the brown spots were really showing through the non-stick coating.
During that time, never had any problems. Water was always consistently hot. No after-taste - but our city water is very soft. The lid pops off so you can drain it easily without spilling. The power cord is magnetically attached that comes off easily in case of accidents. The electric pump always worked, except it is a little slow after boiling the first load in the morning - just let go of the button and press again.
With a product like that, I did not hesitate to buy another.
