AWESOME

Overall, these subs are AWESOME. They are very cheap for what you get, and seem to be of very high quality. I bought four of them for a friends jeep, and we are running it off a power acoustik bamf 4000 1D at 2 ohms, with a 2 farad capacitor and a 1/0 gauge dual amp kit. It POUNDS. We haven't turned everything right up yet until its kind of broken in, but its hard to handle they hit so hard. The looks of these subs are also quite stunning. I would recommend these to ANYONE who wants some good sounding, deep hitting bass in their ride.

These subs rumble the earth like an earthquake!!!

I would recommend these subs for somebody who would like to wake up his/her neighbors! These subs pound and shake the car! I cannot even listen to them at the highest volume for more than 2 minutes cuz my ears start to hurt. THAT IS A GOOD THING! The cone is deeper than the pictures show. It sinks in about 3.5 inches, meaning that The cone has a really good surface area! The aluminum cone also gives tighter bass, and moves air harder, thus giving a louder sound. I replaced two subs of the same wattage with these puppies, and let me tell you, THESE SUBS ARE TWICE AS LOUD. The magnets in these bad boys are huge! These subs are heavy, so if you are going to order two of these, you are going to need to use a dolly to bring them to your car. The rubber surrounds on these subs are amazingly durable. Seriously, this is the fifth pair of subs I have bought in the past six months, so let me tell you, these subs are the final subs i'll buy because THEY ARE THE BEST SUBS I HAVE EVER BOUGHT!!! BUY THESE SUBS! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Legendary

These subs are awesome.
I have a good amount of money and can afford almost any sub but I am going with 4 of these.
I've used them since they were released in early 2000.

Incredible price and durability.

Hook them up correctly and give them 300-500W RMS each and you will be set.

I plan 4 with a 1ohm stable mono block class D at about 1200-1400W RMS divided by all 4.

Great Subs!!

I got these a week ago hooked up to a hitron ha2000.2 and they pound. I was told to let them break in for a week or two but I met a guy with two cvr's and i cranked it. Killed him and the cars next to him. Best bang for your buck hands down. Don't get me wrong there are better subs, but they cost more than these. The clarity is pretty good not great, but the spl is insane. Without breaking them in I cranked the volume a little and my eyesight went blurry and lost my rearview mirror. Small enclosure too so if you are looking at getting subs get them now!!!...you will definitely be surprised even after reading this.

Great Buy

I bought two Performance Teknique 12" subs and hooked them up to my 2500W Boss amp and they pound. They have better base than my sisters 12" cerwin vegas that is hooked up to a 940-2 farenheit amp. They have a hell of alot more base and they will make ur brain rattle. This is the best buy for the money. So I hope you take my advise and get you a set.

My First impression

The first impression I had about this product was it Durability to handle two 1800 watt competition amps Draining my car of life.. I purchased two of the Performance Teknique ICBM-5712DX 12" subs.. After hooking them to a new custom built box for my 1995 Ford Thunder Bird. After about 30 minutes of continus pounding, they never blow up nor started to buzzz... I have to say. I have blown plenty of "Competition" labbled subs that could never stand the pounding the Performance Teknique ICBM-5712DX 12" subs took after a month of use.

Tight!

I've had this baby for almost a year now, and they do not quit out on me any damn time. They are the hardest pounding subs i got. It outlasted my brother's kickers and audiobann. Now he want's to buy mine. Well, what i would say to that is.... Getcha own succah!! And they say girls and machine don't mix. For some maybe, but not this b****. You'll love this product, no doubt!

nice

my good friend has 2 of these subs in his '93 ford explorer, there hooked up to a 1,000W 2 ch. amp....and they pound. he is pushin them with 500W per sub, and they are in a seald box....now dont get me wrong there are better (louder) subs out there, but not for this price....this price is awesome for the amount of bass you get from these subs. and on top of all that, they LAST!!! these subs wont quit on you after a few months or wut ever, play 'em loud play 'em long...the only problem you have to worry bout is your amp over heating....overall

~~~GREAT BUY~~~
Not bad at low volumes not made for loud volumes
Ive had a pair of these subs about a year ago. No lie they sound very clean and crisp at lower volumes but my short time of having them about 6 months ive blown out 2. The first time i was at the carwash playing young jeezy at about volume 7 on my alpine deck. Next thing u know i hear a loud buzzing noise from the woofers. I then noticed there was a big dent on the face of one of the subs the shape of the voice coils. The last time was the same thing but no dent. The whole time i was using a yzen 400 amp to power them which only peaked 800 watts. Now I have 2 12inch alpine type R subs and a planet audio tq1201 amp and never had problems since. My lesson learned if u not trying to experiment new brands then always go with what u know
Aight Sub
I have one of these in the truck of my car. They have a really good tolerance to the lowest bass you can find. Very good range; sound quality is amazing.
Just one 12
Purchased one of these for the cramped back of a SUV. Hooked it up to a mono Kenwood Excelon amp pushing about 400W RMS. Sounds great, most people who have been in the vehicle think I have two 12s, and its in a relatively small box for a speaker of that size.
