don't buy
I bought this alarm for my 2000 suburban. It worked less than a week. Both remotes went out. The kill switch had to be removed in order for me to crank my truck. An all around piece of junk.

Got exactly what I paid for "junk!"
This alarm been a nightmare since day one. Today is the 5th day and I'm just now getting most of the functions to act right. I have not had a whole nights sleep since I installed this thing. Getting Tech support is even worse. I had to call 4 times and each time I waited at least 25 min. to be connected, only to be told the techs are off sick or on lunch. Once I finally got a tech, he insisted my problem was due to my bad wiring...which he was wrong. I found the issue myself, which he was irony about. Now that all that's resolved, one of my remotes shorted out...wow!
