Sound quality very good. The display may have been better but under $40 its worth it.

Nice interface and great sound

Believe it or not, this is my first portable music player. My main criteria was the ability to play FLAC files, and the GoGear Vibe made that short list. I like the user interface - I figured out how to play music without reading any instruction. I also like the Songbird software than runs on the PC and allows you to manage your music and transfer it to the GoGear. Also seems pretty durable -- I've dropped mine a couple of times with no ill effects.

Wow!

Back in the day we had record players. Then we had 8track players, then cassete tapes, then cd's. This is like havng a concert in the palm of your hand. I COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EARS! When I plugged this bad boy in, the room just came alive. The neighbors dog ran in circles. Their fish swam backwards. Their cat barked. The mailman wrote emails. The world is just a different place now. Who would have thought something like this would have happened. I do feel sorry for the pets and the mailman, but watching the neighbors run screaming like little girls, that was the best! Get one for yourself. You will see what I mean.
