PD MP3434 NOT BAD FOR THE PRICE

I purchased this radio for my 1991 F-150, just to put an MP3 player in it. I did not want anything fancy, since my truck is far from fancy at this time. I got this in with obviously no problems. Started up right away, and the quality is actually comparable to other high end components i have used before. Tons of features and all at a super low price. I was very pleased with the look and feel of the unit. The knob and buttons are very sturdy. I am glad i came across this. Very much recommend for bottom of line all the way up. Dont let the brand and price fool you!!! Way to go!

You get what you pay for...

i purchased this cd reciever b/c it was inexpensive for the options and specs that it has. upon receiving this item, i noticed that it was definately NOT of high quality. low end plastics assembled in a poor manner. when i try to detach the faceplate from the main unit, it snags a little bit and with a little more bit of struggling i can get the faceplate off. buttons feel cheap, although the rotory knob does feel pretty sturdy. the remote is also made of the cheap spray painted plastics and you can see that it too is poorly fitted. the unit seems to perform up to par as of now, which hasnt even been a day since install. good sound and adjustablility from the unit. another thing, when playing a cd or mp3 embedded cd, it does not "remember" its last point when switching between the cd player option and tuner option; it starts from the beginning of the cd everytime. if your looking for a cheap cd/mp3 receiver for your daily beater (car), this would suffice.
