Crisp Clear Sound

First off, these are great speakers, at a great price. I tried them on an educated whim and I am very impressed.

I've got them mounted in the stock locations in my Jetta, all around. They went in smooth. I have them wired up from my Pioneer Premium head unit, to a 500 Watt 2 channel kicker amp.

They produce clear sound as loud as I have taken them, which is loud enough to put the stock electrical system at risk in my VW. This is of course because of the 1200 Watt Hifonics driving my two 12'' Infinity subs too.

And on that note, they can keep up with those subs without being drowned out or overpowered. Props to these speakers and the people at Phoenix Gold.

great sound and value

i installed these speakers in my 2008 and were a great drop-in replacement and added a full sound up front with the factory head unit.

Phoenix Gold RSd 6.5 (RSd6.5)

i bought these speakers about 6 months ago, and they sound great. I would say for the price they are a very good deal. I put them in a 1999 suburban. very clear sound, but they are phoenix golds, its expected.

Meh

Sounded pretty good for $40 speakers. Sadly, they only lasted about 6 months.
