Great Subwoofer.

These subwoofers blew me away.I'm running 4 of these subwoofers to a Soundstream Rubicon 2500 watt RMS mono amplifier. They handle every bit of that amp and sound perfect doing it. I'm a M.E.C.P. installer and I never heard a subwoofer at this price sound this good. The old Phoenix Gold I use to know is back in a big way and Thank SonicElectronix for all your help and great prices.

Excellent sound quality and top notch service

Well I ordered this RSDC after hearing a lot of great things about it and all were true. This subs sound quality and accuracy rivals any focal or sub under 400 dollars. Ive owned so many different woofers and the RSDC along with the JBL GTi series are the best ive heard for SQ. This sub is geared toward sound quality but will rattle your teeth if installed correctly of course and this sub is very efficient so if you only have 300rms it will still do the job. Another thing I like about the sub is that you dont need to build a giant box for it, they are meant for smaller sealed enclosures but also do well ported. Also if you are on a tighter budget the RSD subs are great and blow away every other sub in the price range. I here a lot of guys posting reviews on here about different subs and them not being happy about the output and 9/10 times it because they are running a boss, power acoustik, pyle, or cheap non CEA certified amp. An amp is very important in powering your sub. For example, most of the cheap brands are going to rate way high watt numbers but if they are not CEA certified then there's no telling what the true wattage is. also a boss or power acoustik amp is going to be far less efficient so you can expect more light dimming and power drawn for your alt, Anyways if your looking into this sub buy it and you wont regret it.

Excellent sub!

I installed a pair of these for a friend. They were powered by a Hifonics HFi1000D (bought on SE), wired to 1ohm in a sealed 2.75cuft enclosure. He wanted SQL, he got it! These subs handled everything the Hifonics threw at them, they can probably handle more. The bad was very tight and hard hitting. On the SQ side, with a little tuning, they sound excellent. With a flip of the phase, they blended perfectly with the mids and played up front with a very convincing presence. I was very impressed with the build quality of these subs. The cast baskets are very nicely built and designed. The RSDc have a nice looking cone, if weren't for the silly looking wrap around gasket, they would look perfect. I ended up removing the gasket and magnet boot. Overall, I was ecstatic with the results, they get the job done and then some. I would recommend them to almost anyone.

Good Sub... Great Price!

Let it be noted that I rarely use this sub to it's full potential. I usually listen to Rock/Metal music so I usually have the bass set pretty low. However, when I do crank the bass up for Rap or any song with good bass the sub hits very well! At low levels of bass the sub does rumble but puts out a very pleasing thump. The set up I am using is one RSdC122 12" with the Phoenix Gold V8001 Class D Mono Block Amp in a ported box with a 1 farad phoenix gold power cap. I am very pleased with this system and was even more pleased with the price. If your looking for a true competition sub this probably isn't it but overall this is a good sounding sub for an awesome price.

SPL Monster!

I just purchased two of these subs. I am running them on a SPL 3000 watt class d amp wired at 2ohms. I have had many subwoofers over the last decade and these subs really impress me. The sound quality is amazing, the SPL levels that these subs can reach is nothing short of outstanding. Don't be deterred by the 600 watt rms rating, these subs are capable of handling much more than that. If your looking for a good quality well built bass monster these subs are for you.
