One to Buy!!

Great Product, Incredibly cheap and easy to use, fitted flush in my Soarer without the installation kit, have had a lot of compliments about it and a lot of great features!!

Excellent !!!

Pros: for the money, excellent product. Sound is amazing. Even playing videos is great. Equalizer is very good. Navigation simple and easy through the menus.

Cons: USB connection is in the back. Basically all inputs in back of the stereo. If you decide to install extras later, must uninstall stereo to connect them.

this is is nice new deck easy to figure out how to use own ur own wish it has usb and aux ports in the front of it but clearly labeled in the back. no defects, no problems

awesome dvd/cd player with a lot of options

This is a very nice double din dvd/cd player with any options you could want or need. Ipod/iphone/android/dvd/cd/usb all works great but I did find it quite difficult to use the android phone with it. But in the end found it to be because you have to make sure you use the data cable with it and not the cheap charging cable bought at the local walmart. And to use the usb as a video device you have to convert your video to divix.

Can't be beat for the price.

This was an excellent radio for the price. Sounds great and is easy to use. The only thing it lacks is Bluetooth.

Pioneer avh-x1600dvd

Very pleased with this double din, and sonic electronix, super fast shipping to canada at a decent expense, since then I have ordered other car audio accessories aswell! But the pioneer double din is awesome, looks amazing in my 2007 f150, has tons of features, and very easy to use, with the option of the iPhone use, also has a very good picture for video! Overall about 7-10 rate, for the bang for your buck

Great Product!!

I like all the things that this radio can do. It can play DVD's, CD's. You can also hook up a back up camera to it and you do have to buy the add on for the GPS for it. You can also run a wire from the radio to the steering wheel and the GPS can control the steering wheel also. But you do have to make sure your car is compatible for it. Overall I feel it's a great radio.

A fantastic product

I received the Pioneer pretty quick, but the weather was bad and i also wanted to install a rearview Camera. I finally got everything i needed to install it. I finished last Sunday before the snow storm came, and it works great. Very happy.

Excellent value that only "lacks" Bluetooth control of my Android phone. No biggie for a dedicated iPod application. Much cheaper option for watching iPod videos vs. Appradio.

I was able to bypass the parking brake protection, taking the parking brake wire on the Pioneer harness to ground via a momentary push button switch wired n/c. This allowed me easy access of the "3 times to activate" speed bump Pioneer uses to make sure the car is in PARK.

great radio for the buck

I got thus radio at christmas and i must say i was very surprised has a pretty big screen and easy to use also has very good sound quality sonic is the way to buy this product they make it so easy and give you every thing you need to install your radio

Good Headunit for the price

This headunit looks good and is powers up very fast. I have Alpine and Pioneer Navigation units in my other vehicles and they take up to 20 seconds to power up. This headunit powers up in a few seconds and begins to play the music on my Ipod.

The installation was quick and easy. This is the first headunit I have ever installed and it took me only about 2 hours to install. Would have been faster if I didn't make a few mistakes.

My only issue with this headunit is the track up/down buttons. These are not very reliable buttons. I have to press the track up button about 3 to 4 times just to change the track.

Love it!!!

I installed it my self on a 98 Accord coupe. Easy to install took me about 45 minutes to wire harness & set up. Fits great.

Installation was really easy & the product looks great in the car, not sure if its much louder but stereo is good none the less.

As advertised

A few website and stores said this would not fit in my older car. The folks from sonic were very helpful and it did in fact fit perfectly. I start to use the wiring harness that came additionally and realized it didn't work. Guess it is for a new car. So I had to start over and use the the harness that came with the radio.

nice bright screen, looks great. 3 sets of pre-outs, 7 band eq. Ipod/usb works great. bypassed the park break, and the movies look good. I like the mixtrack feature, wish it would play a little longer at the end of the song, but a simple push of the touch screen will turn it on/off. I was a pioneer dealer at my last job for 10 years. I sold almost 200 of this exact model, and had 1 come back, so I knew exactly what I was getting

So far so good. I've had it installed for a bit over a month and really like it. I have some issues with iPod controls, but that's because mine is old and does it with all newer stereos. I like the features and ease of use of the unit as well.

Awesome Value

Installation instructions were lacking in detail , but for someone with some audio experience could be figured out . The audio and video quality are exceptional for the money , and is very user friendly . I would definitely recommend this product.

Great Little head unit...

I bought this unit because I had a Jensen unit that just wasn't cutting it at all. The screen is very responsive and is not cold natured at all. The screens are all well laid out and beautiful. The unit's pre and final amps are very warm and sound awesome. I got no complaints whatsoever and would recommend this unit to anyone.

Good stereo

i bought headunit on feb 2013, so far i have had no problems with it and it works great. I used the pioneer cable to connect my ipod so i can use apps on my radio and they work great, the only thing is that they need to add more apps on pioneer's side.

I recommend this product due to the awesome features this unit has. Like everyone else said it makes your factory speakers sound so good! Sonic shipped the unit fast! Very clear instructions and diagrams were great. I'm very happy with this unit.

Awesome Headunit.

Totally worth buying it. I saw this head unit at a few local shops for $275. When I bought it from Sonic Electronix it was $220. I was all over it. Great Features, great price. I'm only buying my audio gear from Sonic Electronix from now on.

Pioneer 1600 dvd

I got this product a few weeks back and love it. The unit has a lot of features and a great picture at an amazing price. The unit sounds great and has a bunch of neat settings to play with and makes my speakers sounds great. I am very happy with the product and very happy with sonic electronix. They shipped it quickly and with all of the stuff I needed. Couldn't be more happy with it.

Great Unit at a Fantastic Price

This Pioneer unit is a vast improvement over the previous Pioneer stereo I have. Screen is easy to view in direct sunlight, touch screen works excellent and is easy to install and operate. Customer service was helpful even at 7:00 PM on a Sunday and the wire harness that was included matched perfectly with my vehicle. Unit looks fantastic, has great reception and sound. Extremely happy!
