Pioneer AVH-X3800BHS installed in my 2009 Toyota Tundra

Bought the Pioneer AVH-X3800BHS radio for my 2009 Toyota Tundra. The radio that came in the truck died. I also bought the cable and dash kit. The radio installed in the truck without any issues. It looks great. It also sounds good. I like the features of the radio. My cell phone pairs well so taking calls while driving is a nice hands free experience. Great radio at a great price. I would recommend Sonic Electronix to anyone who is looking for a great price on a good radio for the car or truck.

Awesome Functionality at a Great Price!

I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical when I ordered this unit. With the various amenities (blue tooth, music streaming, HD radio, Equalizer), this unit has proven to be Awesome! Fairly easy installation, HD radio is extremely clear and deep, and all functions work as advertised. This unit is actually more intuitive, and works better than the system in my 2015 Honda!

Great Stereo

I just recently had this stereo installed in my wife' s Sequoia, and all I can say is wow. Now my wife is loving her stereo again and we're actually caught up to the 21st century. The touchscreen is very responsive and the features can't be beat for this price. I also got this stereo for its bluetooth capabilities, HD radio features, backup camera input and the option to change the background colors (which my wife loved).

Cons:
- Ease of use (can be distracting while driving trying to use some of the stereo's touchscreen functions)

Amazing deal

This CD player is awesome and has HD radio you can get the bypass to watch movies up front and in the back and it's really easy to navigate and setup. I would recommend this back to anyone looking for a double din that can play DVDs and have a backup camera

excellent head unit for me, I really wanted the head unit for the hands free blue tooth, works great. I also bought a I simple medialinx and a Kenwood cac3av cable and a hdmi cable to plug into the aux jack in the back of head unit and a hdmi to lighting apple plug, now I get to watch live TV, Netflix or what ever you want and get turn by turn nav through the iphone I put this head unit in my 2003 ford focus that we tow behind our motor home,I use the front camera for loading the car onto the tow dolly and the rear for backing up, but if you would like you can keep the front on all the time or the rear camera all the time.Many more features lone it

This is my first time owning a touch screen headunit and I'm glad I choose this one.The review on this don't lie as this touch screen is very user friendly.I have this running my 1 hdc3 12 and to my factory amp.The sound quality is amazing and the 13 band ep q is great.I choose is mostly for the 4vold pre outs and eq.You will not be disappointed.Sonic eletornix had them the cheapest I've seen so far.Also make sure you buy a bypass off ebay so you can use the Blutooth settings.It's just easy to do that then to tap into the parking break.

This radio connects to the I-phone 6 flawlessly every time, no issues to note. Best reason I bought this radio is for the ability to use the WASE navigation app on the radio. I find when I type in the address and then plug my phone into the radio it works perfectly. I have some quirks if I try to do it the other way. I plan on buying a second radio to put in my other vehicle because of the WASE app ability. I thought this radio was very easy to install in my 2004 Toyota 4 runner. Lots of instruction on you tube.

Best radio I've ever had

Screen resolution is great. Touch screen is very responsive. Menu is easy to navigate. And it's not expensive. You save money by skipping the navigation, but you could always use your smartphone or you can connect this radio to your phone and use pioneers navigation from your phone. I love the Pandora radio and so do my kids. I would buy again. Only feature I wish it had was dual zone but it wasn't worth the extra cost for me, so no fault of the manufacturer. I wanted a radio that was non-motorized and I think I made a great choice.

Great Radio

This radio works great and looks good. The only problem I had was with the wiring harness,would not direct fit my 2004 hyundai tiburon. You had to mess around and repin the harness or splice the blue and white striped wire for the amp to the corresponding wire in the original harness.

Perfect Match for our 2004 Mercury Marauder

We wanted a unit that would fill the opening in the dash and have HD FM Radio capability. We also wanted a unit that would drive our built in Sub-Woofer that came with the vehicle and provide steering wheel button control. The Pioneer fill our requirements. This Pioneer Product Sounds every bit as good as the Original Ford AM/FM/Cassette/CD/CD Changer made by Alpine whose AM/FM section ceased to function with only 30,000 miles on the car. We have steering wheel button control via the AXXESS ASWC-1 unit. We were able to get all speakers and sub-woofer connected via the Metra 70-5521. The mounting kit, Metra 95-5817, worked perfectly and the Pioneer looks right at Home in our Mercury Marauder Dash. It also was able to light up Green like the rest of our dash instruments. The Pioneer Sounds every bit as good or Better than the original Ford Premium unit. We would highly recommend this Pioneer product. Years ago we installed the Pioneer single din units in one of our vehicles back when they advertised their Super Tuner III. Pioneer makes very fine stereo units for our cars.

I bought this for my brother. I own the 5800 model in this series. It's pretty much identical except for the screen is a bit smaller, the buttons are on the left side and the face doesn't slide down for the optical disc. Works exactly the same and has the same features other wise from what I can tell. Great EQ and sound processing. Nice touch screen.
