Excellent all-around car receiver!
Let me first start out by saying I was very skeptical of aftermarket car receivers when I purchased this. I've always preferred OEM fitment and quality interfaces from the vehicles I've owned. With that said, I recently decided to purchase this for my 2012 Nissan Xterra as a cheaper alternative to purchasing a new vehicle that had the functionality I was looking for - Navigation, Bluetooth audio streaming, and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. Going into the installation, I wasn't sure that this could make my factory Rockford Fosgate audio system sound any better and was certain that the sound quality limitation was at the speaker level rather than the receiver level, however, this receiver quickly disproved that. The sound quality and clarity is incredible and this receiver really made the system sound amazing. I haven't had a chance to connect the parking brake indicator wire yet, so I can't comment on Android Auto as it doesn't work without that connection, but I'm sure it will be great. Also, navigation has been pretty amazing too. The FM traffic integration works quite well and on the first day of use, alerted me to an accident prior to me getting stuck in the traffic for that accident. It's very useful, has excellent displays, and really makes navigating easy. I'm truly impressed with this unit and would absolutely buy another Pioneer receiver in the future!
