Great product and price!

Just like everyone else, I didn't like that Pioneer required that I have to buy extra adaptors. I fought it for a while and used a 3.5mm cord, but couldn't charge my ipod with it. I wish I just bought this earlier. It is definitely worth the money to not have to worry about charging, and have song control through the head unit!

Pioneer Ipod Adapter

Product does its job. works great for music, videos, youtube. Cord is plenty long (i could jump rope with it). Only problem I ran into with this cord is that it did not fit my application. The plug that connects to the ipod is like 3 times as big as a normal ipod connector. Other than that its perfect.

A Must Have!

If you have an Iphone, this is a must have item. It charges the phone, it plays Pandora on the screen with thumbs up & down, I can play you tube videos and all kinds of stuff. I love it!

Awesome Unit

This Pioneer unit is the best unit I've personally ever had. No problems with install. Only problem I've encountered was that the dash kit was broken but they are sending me a new one.

cord is too short

I bough this to go along with my 4300DVD unit and I will say that the cable is too short for my application. It will not go from the back of the unit to my glove box. I can get a USB extension, and a 3.5MM Audio and video extension. The USD extension is no issue but for the life of me I can't find a 3.5MM Audio & Video cable extension. End result, was of money in my application and no video capabilities for my iPod. The cable looks longer in the picture than it really is.

Decent

Works good with the ipod touch 3G not sure if its the cord or my deck but when I am playing songs in shuffle off my ipod with this it takes a little bit to skip to the next song other than that it works really good love controlling the pod off the deck

Okay value

It worked good while it lasted but now it doesn't work. It doesn't stay plugged into the iPhone anymore and it doesn't play videos anymore. Other than that the price was good and it worked well while it worked.

Sweet head Unit

This head unit has everything you need. Quick access to all functions. You can change the buttons to whatever color you want so the head unit matches your factor dash lights. Integration with steering wheels controls are great. Overall probably one of the best head units I have owned and I have owned a lot.

No video

It only shows sound from netflix youtube as well as my gps. At least the pandora show up on screen. Thats the only thing guessing cause was kinda made for that.

Must Have For I Pod

I would recommend this product. I have a Pioneer AVH-P4200 DVD. And a 160gig I pod classic. Must have in order to connect your iPod to the Head unit. Works great, But one problem. The cord is not very long at all. I had to use a USB extension just to run the cord from the Head unit to my glove box in my Mercedes CLK 430. Wanted to run it to my center console but that was a no go because it was so short. I went with the glove box because it was closer and prob better because it has a lock and I can leave the I pod in the car. I think that Pioneer should offer this product in different lengths so people can buy the one that is the right size for where they want to put it. Thats the only reason I give it 4stars in the overall section. way too short!!!!!!!
