Connected but did not fix my head unit from staying in demo mode

I have the Pioneer DEH-P7900BT and was told by my installer that by using this purchased cable it would stop my head unit from getting bright and dim every minute on/off and it did not fix my issue. It connects my Ipod and control of my Ipod is limited when plugged in. My DEH-P7900BT head unit makes it difficult to control the Ipod and the remote control that came with the DEH-P7900BT does not help very much. I have to unplug my Ipod and sellect a diffrent Podcast and plug it back in for it to play the next Podcast. Difficult to do when driving. Note My Ipod is few years old.

*Admin Note: On the Pioneer DEH-P7900BT, it has a "Demo Mode" and a "Reverse Mode". The Reverse mode makes the unit background switch from black to blue every few seconds. To disable this mode, hold the top left button (SRC) to turn the unit off. It should then go into demo mode or show the clock. Hold down the center multi-control knob for a few seconds until the menu pops up. From there you can turn off both the Demo and Reverse mode.*

Works with my 2nd Gen iPod Touch

Works as advertised. Except it does work well with my 2nd Generation iPod Touch. And it does charge my iPod when it is plugged in.

Works Great

I have this cable hooked up to my Pioneer Avic-Z130BT. It works as it should, it also charges my iPod and supports video playback. This cable is also very rugged, I have had cables like this for other brands of Double dins and they have worn out after use, however this cable shows no signs of a need to be replaced.
