Universal System
We have five of these units in various vehicles with good success. One even works well in a high performance boat. It will skip if one runs fast and jumps waves, but otherwise works perfectly. The players are pretty tough. One unit has been in operation for 9 years. We live in an isolated area with no radio stations, so the CD players are on any time the car is in operation. Of course the sound quality with an FM modulator is never as good as a direct conection, but the system will work with almost automotive head unit with a FM radio. Some of the late model Ford radios have some problems aligning with the available frequencies available on the Pioneer FM modulator due to the digital tuners in the radio, and can degrade the sound quality slightly. The FM modulator is so strong that I can play any one of the five players, and will clearly pick up the signal with the old FM radio in my garage, or the other vehicles parked near by. No problems.

Great Value !
I would advise every one with head each from other products to invest in this one. The sound is heavy and clean no matter how high you push the volume. You will see what you would never expect to see in a unit of this price range.

I have a mercury mountaineer and this easily hooked up to the factory head unit and it even fit where the oem changer sat. Great little unit.
