best head unit for price

All controls are very easy to use. A cool red lighting, not blinding at night, so that's a plus. always owned pioneer and this one is my favorite. I recommend.

GOOD SYSTEM, MONEY WELL WORTH SPEND

I bought this system because it was cheap. It came in about 4 days and the installation tools that came with it made putting everything in the car easier. I would recommend this everyone looking in the market for a cheap but very effective system.

great bang for the buck

For the money this head unit has some great features such as iPod capability, this unit has a nice clean look that looked great with the interior of my car. The RCAs are also a huge plus for sub-woofer integration. This unit was easy to install and overall a great product for first time set-ups. sonic also has incredibly fast shipping, unit shipped in 2 DAYS! All the way from the west coast to the east coast. Well worth the money.

Awesome Deck

This deck looks great and sounds awesome. The deck is so simple to figure out. clock settings are a sinch. im running a RE Audio SEX12D2 and a HFI1000.1D amp. this is a great deck for the price if you are looking for a good deck at a low price.

IMPRESSIVE HEAD UNIT FOR THE PRICE

I recently installed 3 of these low cost head units for 2 friends and my daughter. For the money, a better head unit cannot be found. Installation (a Volkswagon Golf, a Chevy Malibu, and a Subaru Imprezza) was very easy. Sonic also sends the dash mount kit and the harness for free. The pair of RCA outputs make the addition of an optional amplifier possible. Just read the owner's manual to take advantage of the many features that this gem of a head unit offers. The front auxillary jack is a bonus. Excellent sound, excellent price. Sonicelectronix does not disappoint!

Pioneer DEH-1300MP Cheap but Real Good

This is one of the best headunits I've owned. It has a good look and doesn't got all that bs added in. its easy to use and has aux hole for iPod or mp3 players. I'm running 2000 watt amp and it hasnt dimed or nothing like that.
Over all its a great deal, would def buy again

Nice and Budget Friendly

I've ordered a couple of these head units for my vehicles, friends vehicles etc. It's a nice easy to use radio, with out all the bells and whistles. Looks nice installed, sounds good!

Bang for your buck

Strong features, excellent player for under 80 bucks. For control freaks and hi-fi tweakers, I'd go with the 99 dollar version to add a few more useful features.

good buy

I'd buy this again. Easy to use, easy to install. It went into my 4x4 truck which only gets used occasionally. The only thing that could be improved is the buttons could be a little larger for ease of use. Otherwise for the money it's a good buy, sounds good and is easy to use.

Great & easy to use!

I've have owned this for a year now and never had any problems. All the feature and easy to use especially from the remote. A great plus is it has an aux for your iPod, great product for the price!

Great Radio

I installed this radio in my 07 Corolla S and this radio is great. The features are easy to use and the radio looks great. especially that the buttons glow red and match my car. With factory speakers and this radio it's loud but with my two Pioneer TS-W303R 12's with a Boss 1100 watt monoblock pushing about 550 watts rms at 2 ohms and Cerwin Vega 6x9's on a Autotek 4 channel amp the radio is amazing great buy. Sonic is the only place I buy from.

solid for entry level

I'm a car audio installer I put many indash in and have a a pioneer head unit in my car i put this in a friend of mine car and was suprized it has more power and sounds a lot better than I would've predicted from a $60 unit play back is good and tunability isnt bad. If your just replacing your stock unit for something with a cd player or a little more power and expandability this is a deffint buy for the budget

Pioneer DEH-1300MP

If you're looking for a simple upgrade from stock, this is for you. Its pretty basic as far as features go, cd, front aux, rear rca outputs, ect. Fairly easy to navigate through as well.

great buy great company

Bought this Pioneer and installed it in my 2007 gmc sierra classic. installation was easy and the sound is great. I installed new pioneer speakers at the same time. The only way to get more from this system is to add an amplifier. That would be too much for me. This unit has the loudness feature that I really like, it really improves the sound. I was supprised to find the low and hi option on this feature also. Great product. Would definitely recommend.

Good value for the price

Does every thing I want. Radio sounds as good as the speakers you use. I installed the radio in two of my cars and noticed the difference.
Playing a CD is easy and also sounds good. The remote clicker is a real help. ( Helps me keep my eyes on the road and not looking down at the radio.)

Awesome head unit

I have had this head unit for well over a year and it has never given me any issues. You can change the colors all around and plug an amp in to it and bump subs fat. It has a pretty decent equalizer too. For the price this product is an awesome deal

Ok

This head unit is nice if you just want a good overall sound system and just 1 amp not more than one and not for a sub u can't control the bass to the amp separate from your speakers so what ever your bass is is what your putting to your sub so if you got crappy door speakers and u put your bass all the way up your not going to be able to turn up your head unit for crap with out it sounding like crap just make sure if u run this head unit don't run a sub if u do plane on not running it to it's full output.

Great Stereo!

I put this in my Honda Del Sol and it works great! Sound is great, features are great, looks are awesome. My only complaint would be the ease of use. It took me a while to figure out some of the features because the manual was not very descriptive and didn't list all the features.

Ok for the money

Just needed a simple upgrade to replace the deck in an old truck. This is exactly that. Easy to use. Not alot of bells and whistles like my wifes Kenwood. My only complaint is that compact discs seem to skip more often in this player than in others. But, I tend to use the mp3 jack the most so not a huge deal.

Well the installation will take a while ther are a lot of wires to connect together but after its done it sounds good looks good and nothing to complain about.

Nice sound, weird controls.

Whoever designed the controls for this stereo was not thinking properly. While it produces a good aftermarket sound, and does a good job of playing CD's, iPod and the radio, the controls are weird. Everything is hidden in menu's you can't decipher and the manual came with 4 pages in English, the rest in Spanish and French. Through trial and error, I've accomplished what I wanted, but it was definately a pain to figure it out. Great stereo, but could have benefit from a better menu system.

love it

I had this in my old car before I totaled it and it's a great, cheap deck. Doesn't skip when you hit bumps at all. Has all the features you would expect on an expensive deck. I liked it a lot. I'll probably buy a new one when I can.

Pioneer deck was Bada**!!

This stereo is really worth the price and it is better than my peace of crap Sony deck. I would highly recommend this deck to anyone. I got so much things to say about it that I'm too lazy to write about it. lol

I just replaced my JVC CD player with this and it sounds so much better and it is much easier to use i also think it sounds alot better with my subs then the JVC. I would deffinately recommend this for anyone on a budget.

Great Value, unless you're me

Arrived fast, but was not compatible with my 2005 Tundra JBL system. Was only able to get 50% power when installed even with required harness purchased with it. I had it professionally installed and they're the ones that told me it was not right for my stock system. Beware if you have a JBL system I guess.

Happy with the CD/Radio

Very fine product that upheld Pioneer's reputation for excellent electronics. Given as a gift to my wife to replace the TAPE/Radio that came in her car. It is unfortunate that the car was lost in an accident 2 months later. We retrieved the Pioneer unit before the care was hauled off to the junk yard and will possibly use it in a replacement vehicle.

This is a pretty decent radio for the price, it has good sound quality but lacks a few features, oh well it was a good price. Sonic is a awesome company to deal with!

Good cd player

I used to have this cd player. Only difference was mine had a usb input for my iphone. That was the best part. But it is a very nice cd player. Especially at sonics price. I paid $89.99 for mine. But that was before i found SonicElectronix. I got mine at best buy. Wish i would have found Sonic sooner. I also paid for a wire harness through best buy. At Sonic, you get the wire harness and dash kit free. And best of all, free shipping and fast as hell. I will never buy audio from anywhere but SonicElectronix again.

Great Buy For The Money

If you are looking for a deck to install in your car and your on a budget this is it. The installation went very smooth and the instructions were well put together. I have a bit of experience with decks and I will say right now that if you want a deck and are just running speakers then buy this. As far as a subwoofer I would buy something more designed for that but this does great if all you want is speakers. The removable face plate is another great feature that many other companies can't offer at these prices and is a nice luxury to help deter theives. On about 6 months now and the deck is doing everything I wanted it to so I give this buy a 5! Thanks sonic
