This radio i bought for my dad he likes it and i tuned it and installed it it was easy to teach the navigation of the unit for settings and it looks and works great not competition but its good for a daily with a basic system or factory system.

I got this for my brother for Christmas. His stock radio is old and falling apart, and he likes listening to his iPod in the car, so this product was a no brainer. The price was within my budget and outputs a quality sound for the price. Maybe better speakers would make it sound better too. But the features are nice and set up was relatively easy for the first time. The only problem that made things hard was the year of the car. Installation required me to pretty much take the car apart.

The best thing about it is that it offers high pass filtering for the front and rear speaker channels. You can remove unwanted bass from the door speakers and really clean up the sound.

Can't beat it.

This is the deal of deals. It is everything I could ask for....name brand unit, dirt cheap, free shipping, free installation hardware, remote control, and the main reason I got it is for the built in high-pass filter. My dad has a 1973 duster I had been doing audio upgrades to(Pioneer 6x9s, Pioneer 5 1/4s, Insignia 12 in handmade ported box powered by a matching Insignia amp with a supposedly 0 gauge but is more like a 2 gauge wiring kit). The 5 1/4s were mounted to the kick panels and I fiberglassed the panels and all that jazz. The 6x9s loved the JVC deck I started with, but the 5 1/4s couldn't take the power. I had the bass at -1 and the car sounded great until the 5 1/4s became part of the equation. So I had to baby them and decided that wasn't going to work. I searched the site for a deck that was cheap, had an aux input, remote and most importantly had a built in high-pass filter. The pioneer was one of the first on the search and I ordered it. I found the controls tricky for a short moment but got the hang of it and I had the car sounding perfect in no time with happy 5 1/4s. I have told others about how great of a deal this deck is and how many features it has. I wish it had a few more capabilities (like separate filtering for the front and rear rather than all or nothing) and was easier to use, but for the price it is amazing. Very happy with my purchase.

Very Good Product

This is a pretty good radio. I used tis to replace the factory radio in my 2000 Camry. It was easy to install even for someone like me who has never installed a radio before. It works great and sounds wonderful, I just wish there was a way to turn the red lighting off sometimes.

The product/radio is a great radio to begin and or have as a starter radio to get your feet wet to get better in having one. It's pretty cool with how you can adjust stuff and how you'd like the equalizer to play. Definitely recommend it.

Pioneer 150MP

When I first turned on the headunit, the sound was rather flat.
But when I got into the "Custom 1" settings of the EQ's, that's when this headunit came alive. Crisp, potent highs and manages my sub with ease. Very pleased.

The sound is good but not great,I have not replaced my speakers yet in my 96 truck so they are 18 yrs old.The big problem is your cd.s will get so hot after a couple of hrs playing you can not handle them and the radio is poor very poor !!

great buy, very cheap, better than kenwood now

i use to only buy Kenwood and Alpine and running through a amp but after comparing this side by side connected to 5x7s and 6x9s, this pioneer blew the Kenwood and Alpine out of the water. The highs were clearer and bass sounded better. I can honestly say I will never waste a lot money on a radio again after hearing the sound out of this awesome and cheaper Pioneer.

Amazing head unit!

The installation wasn't too complicated. Even though it could be easier. The head unit itself works amazing. It took me a while to adjust the settings because there are so many options. It works great with the subwoofer too because there are separate options just for the subwoofer. Overall this is a great head unit especially for the price. I would recommend this head unit to anyone looking for a great head unit.

Pioneer DEH-S1100UB Review

I needed a replacement radio for my vehicle. Something that was fairly low in price but has a USB and Aux input for playing music from my phone with. I purchased this Pioneer radio as it has all of the features I was looking for, the price is low and the radio itself has a great design. Simple, but straight forward. After installing the radio, I was able to play music from my phone just as I wanted. The music is clear and I like the fact that the radio is not too complicated to adjust settings, change the radio stations and source inputs.

Extremely pleased with this stereo!

The stock stereo in my 2005 acura car was broken, and I was limited to just listening to the radio (poor quality with alot of static). I'm very happy with this stereo. It's honestly a huge upgrade without the extra frills. No it doesn't come with bluetooth, but all I really needed was a newer stereo with CD, MP3, audio jack, USB connection, and better audio quality for the radio. Well, I got just that. The radio also sounds so much better now in my car. Fast shipping, and competitive prices (Better than amazon in my opinion).

Generally, I'm pleased with the unit. I suggest hanging onto the owner's manual because some of the functions are not very intuitive. My biggest negative with this is the display brightness. There are only 2 settings...dim and very dim. It is nearly impossible to see the display until night. I depend on being able to easily check time while driving but I cannot do so safely with this unit.

Versatile stereo.

Bought one of these for my wife's 2000 mazda mpv 2 years ago. Used vehicle with worn out stock stereo. Sounded so good with stock speakers, had to buy a second one for my 1996 Honda odyssey. Really makes the stock speakers in the odyssey sound great too. Great shipping and customer service, on a great stereo. After 2 years, both are still rocking, with no issues. Am buying a third one for a 1999 nissan sentra. Can't wait to get it in and rocking. With the installation kit, and wiring harness thrown in, buying this is a no brainer.

Okay for the price

For the price I can't complain much, however, I don't understand why car audio makers have moved to eliminate on/off buttons on their products. The Pioneer system I purchased has a complicated process for simply turning the stereo off and on. In order to create this option I had to install a toggle switch. It used to be most stereos had an easy solution, a push button which would turn the unit off and on. This issue is not limited to Pioneer, but as a leader in this market I would think Pioneer would make ease of operation a priority.

Pioneer DEH-150MP Radio

The radio seems to work really well. It says that it is a replacement radio for our 1996 Ford Pickup. Unfortunately it is not plug and play. The old radio had two plugs in the back, this one did not. We received the adapter kit, but we were not able to figure out how to get it wired. We took it to a shop and they put it in for us, so all is good.
Just a warning If you are planning to install this yourself.
