Good for starters

This is a good stereo. It has not let me down in the 5 months I have owned it. I can't really complain about it other than the fact that the ATT button is ONLY on the remote, so if you don't have your remote handy, you cant 'mute' your stereo quickly. Also, the pause feature is buried within a menu, so it is not easy to stop your music.

Other than that, the stereo produces quality sound and powers a pair of Blaupunkt 5x7s easily along with some stock 6x9s

great deck

i reccomend this deck to anyone who is looking to make their stock stereo sound 10 times better!

the only problem i have had with it is when i switch the ipod control to the deck, it says error 11 and i have to turn the ignition off. its just annoying.

Decent Buy, overall good

Ive had this head unit for about a year now and I love it. The only thing that has gone wrong with it is the aux port is a little loose and cuts in and out sometimes. I have to have the cord in the perfect position for it not to cut in and out. Also theres only single rca hookups in the back.

Great value

I installed this cd deck in my friends 96 mustang and it just completed his dash. This deck looks as amazing as it sounds. the sound quality it provided for the factory speakers was even amazing the bass is extremely clear and accurate and the highs are perfectly balanced. This cd deck is a perfect buy for just going simple and smart.

Great stereo installed it myself, easy to use, and i really like how on cd's I made they sow the song titles,artist,and album.

The only thing that is mediocre is that it lights up.

I love this deck. Its got lots of settings to get the sound you want. Easy to use and looks great. I would strongly recomend it!

replacement

I installed this unit for a buddy at work. Replacing the factory unit. Cheap, Ease of use, and not alot of extras. Perfect for someone who just wants to replace a factory headunit.

Awesome, inexpensive deck

Bought this to replace an Aveo stock stereo mainly to get iPod connectivity. It sounds much clearer and offers high-end features in a very affordable package. Somewhat steep initial learning curve in button use. I would recommend this to anyone with a tight budget but a big appetite for tech and convenience. It is still new so I can't really comment on its durability, but its been great so far.

Good car audio for the price

This is one of the very few stereos that fit my 1988 Jaguar XJ6 (XJ40). The back lighting is green, which matches green lighting on the dash. Best feature is the MP3 jack to connect your IPod or whatever other input device you have. Detachable panel is good for people who may be worried about stereo theft. The silver design accents are nice for luxury vehicle interior as well. Great buy for the money!

great product

this a good stereo overall. it made my sound more clearer and louder. the aux input is great for connecting my ipod. the eq options are ok, just the basic bass, mid, and treble options to adjust the sound. the volume goes up pretty high, too 62 so its pretty loud with minimal distortion. my only problem was getting the radio to work cuz i only hear static but its problaby a wiring problem. overall its a great stereo at the price plus you get the harness and adapter for free so its a good deal. i would definitely recommend it

Great headunit

I have use this headunit for more than 1 year and is still working as the first day, like said before, it does not have too many features but it will make it if your are in a budget.

Just perfect

great value. came with everything i needed and more. just installed in my 99 F150. for me, the installation instructions were easy. ipod sounds great. much better than an fm modulator. dont wast your money on that. radio stations come in stronger than the factory deck. the controls are a little difficult at first, but you'll get the hang of it. the remote makes it easier to control.

For the price, cant beat it!

There are a million different CD players out there, but they all dont have direct input for an Ipod, that is the main reason I bought this so I could control Ipod with my controller or right on the face.

Many features for the price.

I got this unit before I took the plunge for an in dash dvd unit and still don't regret it. I needed a cheap (but good sounding) unit with the AUX input. I specifically needed it for a carPC project I was working on, but the more I used it, I ended up hooking various voice recorders and mp3 players. What a great feature. It should be standard on all players because then you won't need an ipod adapter. Overall this unit sounded great, but given that there are no sub outputs your gunna be stuck with that sound unless you upgrade your speakers.
All in all, excellent unit and highly recommended if your on a budget or need it for a carpc project.
