Perfect Stereo for the price

We purchased this stereo for our daughter's car for a Christmas present. The stereo was easy to install with the help of her brother. It was a prefect fit for her Ford Contour. Sound is great for the price. The options on the stereo are excellent for a teenage girl. She plugs in her I-phone and away she goes. It was definitely worth the price.

Just what you need.

Put this in my Jeep Cherokee just the other day. It was a very easy install (as most head units are). It has great features and works with my iPhone perfectly, it even charges it! You can control via phone or unit and both are great to use. This only comes with one set of RCA outputs, so if your running multiple amps via RCA, you'll either have to splice them or move on to the 4300 model. Personally I only needed one and it works and sounds fine. The controls are quite simple to use, just take a few minutes to go in and read the manual to get all the little navigation tricks down.

This is a good head unit. It's a great price and good quality, I recommend it.

good but......

This is a good head unit for the price. The USB reads a good amount of formats. The only downside to this unit is the placement of the USB. Not only does it stick out awkwardly but blocks the ir (infrared) from the remote. This would be the reason I wouldn't recommend. I upgrade to a Kenwood for about $60 more for the usb connected to the back. keep it hidden in the glove box!

Really good!

I got the package really fast and all in one peice within 2 days (4-6 days early). everything is really user friendly, but I can not figure out the colors, which is really bugging me! i also can not make it not fall out over bump, etc. REALLY annoying but i think its just the dash kit. GO FOR IT! worth the $$$!!

The quality I have come to expect of Pioneer

I have owned many different head units, and of all brands, I only trust Pioneer and Kenwood to deliver top products like this at a competative price. The Pioneer DEH-3300UB is a fine piece of equipment for those with a budget.

4/5 stars for features being that this is a more standard unit (no DVD and so forth).

Wonderful unit!!!

Just got this unit today. Took me about 10 minutes to strip wires and install. It was a very easy hookup. So far, it is powering my dash speakers and tweeters wonderfully! This is a great unit and is for sure worth $100!!! Absolutely great value!!!

Great buy

I have thoroughly enjoyed this stereo. This was my first time buying and replacing a car stereo. The built-in usb port is super easy to use with my iPod, and I must say that this stereo significantly improved the sound quality in my car! I'm still very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone. My family and friends were right: Pioneer is the way to go.

Great radio for iPod

This works and sounds great (powerful and clear) in a 97 Nissan Pathfinder. It has a strong tuner that can capture radio with just the wire windshield antenna (my main antenna is broken). I highly recommend this radio. I like the layout even more than Pioneer 7200HD model which costs almost twice as much. The iPod charging and playing works great. Pandora through iPhone also works.

Beginner deck

Nice and user friendly deck for the price it s worth it if you aren't running amps besides maybe a sub. Cheap good quality nice features

WORTH 100 BUX

I have this cd player powering four powerbass dash speakers and 2 powerbass 12s it sounds real clean. The controls arent to bad 2 memorize after a few min of playin with it, the features are good and the usb port is great to this cd player is easily worth 100 bux

Best head unit I've ever owned

I love this head unit really easy to install easy to navigate all in all I will only buy Pioneer head units I also like that I can u a flash drive with it I would recommend this to any 1 on a budget thats looking for a good head unit another plus was I ordered it on feb 1 2011 and I got it on feb 2 2011 I will be ordering head units and amps from the I love SonicElectronix

A great CD player for a low price i recently installed one in my Honda.

Works like it should

I bought this for my daughter's boyfriend for Christmas. Initially, he thought the unit was DOA, but he failed to read the manual to find out how to get the rear line outputs to send a full range signal to his amp. It requires going into the initial setup (with the power off) to tell the rear outputs to use full range. Once that was figured out, the rest was a no brainer. Tuner is decent, I Pod control is good, and it plays CDs with no drama. It's installed in an 88 Toyota pickup that gets thrashed a little (was on it's roof not too long ago) and it just plays. What more could you want for the money?

AWESOME basic head unit

I got this for the price and after hearing the 3200 model I was sold on Pioneer.
ONLY ONE PREOUT for amp - switchable rear/sub when unit is powered off...
I'm using Rockford Fosgate 2chan amp to push 6x9's in boxes in back of my 94 firebird. Sounds great, and easily tunable.
My music is mostly played off a flash drive and this searches and plays very quickly. More than impressed with this Pioneer.
'Sound Retrieve' function and radio tuner quality is great.
Buttons are easy to figure out if you spend a few minutes memorizing what does what.
