good quality

Great cd player five years old and still running strong

Amazing!

Just had it installed a few days ago. All I can say is that I am VERY impressed! For me the bluetooth is the most notable feature. I have this deck installed in a 1992 Chevrolet Astro Van along with Infinity Reference 6-1/2 2 Way speakers and Infinity Reference 5-1/4 2 Way speakers. My Motorola V3 Razr hooks up directly to the unit via bluetooth once its powered on. I have the mic set to the top left and it picks up voices from anywhere inside the van. I can even connect my laptop to the unit via a USB bluetooth adapter on the laptop and play my music wirelessly from there or even play games. The bluetooth is a huge plus.

The display is simple and easy to use and glows a pretty blue. The faceplate moves down automatically after the van is shut off so you can remove it simply my pulling it straight out. I attached an auxiliary Monster cable to it so I can hook up anything with a headphone jack instead of limiting myself to Ipod only. Quality is still amazing.

If you don't have bluetooth its still a great deck. It has a nice wow factor as well for anyone who comes in my van. It would be really cool if you could change the color of the faceplate to anything other than blue. You can choose the background animations for each input type which is a great way to distinguish between them. I highly recommend this deck to everyone.

Great HU

I have had this cd player in my car for like 8 months and I love it! I have my ipod hooked up to it and it is very easy to use. I also have it paired with my cell phone so my phone book can be accessed through the HU so I can just lock my cell in the glove box with my ipod to keep away the clutter. The only bad thing about this was trying to find a spot for the microphone which was a little large. You should totally get this!

AWSOME

I own a 5 speed car and i would get phone calls while i was shifting and kill the car. So i needed something with bluetooth but i had to be nice because i have upgraded speakers, 2 12" Type R subs with a D class amp and i needed the right head unit to really thump. After a year of ownership i have nothing but praise.

Great Features

It is hard to beat this deck for both Bluetooth and iPod control in one package. The iPod control is good and intuitive. My Motorola phone connected easily. The display is nice and it has a lot of extra features. Very pleased so far.

New Gen

The newer generations of pioneer are really coming around and still holding to their name as far as quality and features available. I bought this head unit and after doing so and riding with me already 3 of my other friends have bought the same one. The bluetooth is included easy to install and the Ipod connectivity and controls is full speed and easy to use. Although the unit does not have the 5v preouts or time corrections like my previous units it still has a great sound. Highly recommended.
