The kit fit perfect. Kit has all required harnesses to do a complete installation, onced it is installed it looks factory made. Instruction need to be revised to a more simple form so that one doesn't read them a few times to understand them. I would highly recommended this kit to anyone it is a DYI.

Aftermarket antenna adapter

This aftermarket antenna adapter is great for installing an aftermarket stereo. One good thing about it is that it comes with the power wire if you have a vehicle with a power antenna. The product is great for the price and wouldn't buy it from anywhere else.

The wiring harness may look like a head scratching stressful mess but don't worry, its easier than it looks. Anyone can set up this radio. The directions that it came with a whole lot easier. The product was very good in quality.

Not all functions work on Passat Wagon B6

If you are using this adapter in a 2006 to 2010 Passat Wagon the RAP does not work. I spoke to the Axxess rep and he said that there is a software glitch between the adapter and the Passat. Axxess will have to release a new model to fix this issue. Also, for the Pioneer DVD head units that need the parking break on/off/on signal, the adapter will randomly work.

Was very happy with the product, was easy to install, fitted well and looks like it was factory fitted.

I'm pleased enough with it. The instructions were a little lacking, but what became apparent after looking at it for a bit was there are 2 harnesses which can plug into the box, and to me I used the one that was wired to the stereo's power wires and it worked. Also it needs to be programmed to the car by turning the key on for 30 secs to a minute with all doors closed.

The retained power feature did not work in my 2006 Jetta. It is supposed to leave the radio on after you remove key until the door is opened, but mine just turns off with the key. Not a big deal really, it'd be nice if it worked though.

2002 jetta single din radio instal

At first it worked as advertised although after a few day the product was intermittent on working... I would turn the car off and the radio would remain on not sure if I bout the wrong unit.. I know the wiring is hooked up correctly it's color coded..... but it sometimes works and then all of a sudden quits working so I will be emailing the them for a solution

Fit like a glove, once I got the lower tabs from the factory brace bent down out of the way. Only gotcha....existing accessory power is 2.6 volts, this unit requires a full 12v. Closest is the power wire to the power windows (if you have them) or the accessory lighter output. I love the Bluetooth and sounds great.

This is must when putting an aftermarket headunit in a VW; I know someone that went to an audio shop and they didn't use one of these; they just cut into the wires so now his car shuts off or the lights go out at night. Just follow the instructions and you'll be fine.

First let’s start off simple. I’m not a huge car fix it your self guy. So this was a little different putting it in my Nissan. But honestly it was easy as easy can get. It’s a great radio for the price as well. Since I’ve had it for about a week I’ve loved everything about it. The customization with the colors , the equalizer, and the Bluetooth connectivity. Truthfully I’d tell anybody to get this. You will not regret it one bit.
