It works. Every once in a while there is a glitch, but if I turn off the car and turn it back on, everything works OK.

You need room for the box nearby the radio. Its not the easiest setup in the world. I had to add some RCA connectors to make it work for my setup. I also had to run a separate dimmer light for my radio (the harness from my car didn't have a dimmer wire).

Good product at good price

I have installed aftermarket 2-DIN headunit with this kit into Torrent 2006. Original radio has the face panel bigger then standard 2-DIN opening. This installation kit fits perfectly: into dash panel and allow precise fit of 2-DIN headunit. Everything sits in place and looks like factory installation. I highly recommend this product for 2-DIN aftermarket radio installation into Pontiac Torrent. The only improvement could be suggested: have this kit to be painted to match color of dash panel. It is nice mate black, but having choice would be great.

Doesn't work properly

Order the product for my 2006 gmc can't get it to work sounds like it's muted or shorted out inside followed instruction check all connections still can't get proper sound not pleased at all

the dash kit came in, in the right color, way before the promised date. I literally placed an order with sonic electronix on Thursday night. I need the dash kit because the whole stereo will be at the installers the next Tuesday and they would order it as they don't have it, but the cost would have been double. Admittedly I waited til the last second, it was due by Monday, guaranteed by Tuesday. I got it Saturday. It's the only item I've bought from SE, but it's now the only place I'll consider buying from for my car stereos.

Quality product

Fit great, easy install, instructions included, both paper and URLS to video tutorials. Video not needed. Looks great, matches interior as advertised. Metra is the way to go in my experience. have had in my vehicle for at least a month with no problems. Holds up my double din stereo on its own as the stud placement on my new stereo did not match up to the factory one.

It was actually harder to find the right adapter from the dealer here in town than it was to hook this one up. It went together very easily and quickly and works flawlessly. I am quite pleased.

piece of cake... works great with my Bose system... only gripe would be level matching being separate for left and right channel.. some would call it a bonus. i would call it a pain... this is why stereo manufacturers include a balance feature in the head unit

I got some wire and this dash kit, both can in record time and in a box with packing peanuts so nothing was broken. I'm very happy with everything but just wish I could of gotten some decal stickers :) but overall great price and great product!!

Awesome product at a great price

I had some trouble getting it to fit with my head unit, but I believe that was the fault of the manufacturer of the head unit and nothing in regards to the harness itself. Nevertheless, with a little brain power it's all in and I'm bumpin tunes and making everyone angry at my loud music :) thanks guys :)

It is very easy to install. If you have an internally amplified sound system you do hear some interference. Overall the product is not bad, but it would be nice if it did not make so much noise past a certain volume level.

Installed according to the vague instructions, from the get-go, the volume was low, turned the gain knob all the way up, volume still low. Figured I will deal with volume at a later date. The major complaint I have is this harness killed my battery, 3 times. I did some research on the internet and found that this is a major complaint along with the low volume. It surprises me that all the reviews on this site are positive.I went to another popular online electronics retailer and read the reviews on their site, mostly negative. I returned my harness and am trying to find another brand. not happy.

First let’s start off simple. I’m not a huge car fix it your self guy. So this was a little different putting it in my Nissan. But honestly it was easy as easy can get. It’s a great radio for the price as well. Since I’ve had it for about a week I’ve loved everything about it. The customization with the colors , the equalizer, and the Bluetooth connectivity. Truthfully I’d tell anybody to get this. You will not regret it one bit.

Never fixed my installation issue

They could not resolve my installation issue for my 2004 H2 Hummer. Bought whole new radio bundle from them for it per there web site. Radio still not installed. Now have to go to car stereo store to b pay and have them fix it.
