I love the fit of this Metra kit compared to the Scosche in my Mustang but the plastic "grain" of the surface is hit or miss. Took 4 kits to get a good looking piece. And while some may say "what's one imperfection" I say I am installing an expensive head unit and want the trim pieces to look just as good.

This adapter fits my 08 F150 perfect! The only thing I recommend is that if you need to use the spacers in the kit, that you glue them to the dash kit. They just snap into place and frequently pop out of place when trying to install.

Hey Folks just a heads up that this Wiring Harness made the install of my aftermarket head unit into my F-150 a snap, plug and play, no mess I definitely recommend getting rid of that factory radio and giving your ride an Upgrade !

Ford double din dask kit metra

The kit was easy to install, on 2004 ford f 150 just had to cut plastic where the holes are about half an inch and fit perfectly, would recommend it.

These accessories fit and looks great with the stereo that I purchased. They do go hand-in-hand together. It is a necessary part of the stereo and to me it is needed.

Missing steps

Used with 2007 f150. Yes you have to remove the rear mounts. No I did not use the spacers. The document does not tell you how to attach the side brackets to the radio? The screws that come with it do not fit , they will strip out your nut plates. Different type of threads.

First let’s start off simple. I’m not a huge car fix it your self guy. So this was a little different putting it in my Nissan. But honestly it was easy as easy can get.
