Excellent product

It fits perfectly in my jetta mkIV so i can install my pioneer avhp3350bt like an original radio!

Easy to install, nearly perfect

Installed this in my 2000 VW Golf without too many problems. For best results, I had to pop out the heater control bezel to make sure I could get it fit perfectly. Otherwise, looks great, sits flush with the dash, and my double-din unit looks great!

Pretty Good

Fits my 2002 VW Jetta 1.8T perfectly. The bottom part does not snap in however or once did and has now come loose. Not noticeably though.

mounts fit the car perfectly but, the inner trim was smaller than the radio and had taken over an hour to shave the plastic down so that the radio cold fit in

Perfect and clean fit!

Item fits great into my vehicle, however I had to shave it down to fit my stereo. After modification it fits great. Couldn't get item from speacialty shop, perfect for application.

Does not stay in the dash

This is a poor quality insert that does not keep my stereo in the dashboard of my Volkswagen Passat. Find something else to mount it with.

i got this just for the power ground and remote wires. i didn't use the speaker out wires as going to run amplifiers. worked without issues

Got the job done easily

was used for a Mercedes W202(non-bose) application. had to modify it a little, but made it a much cleaner install that is removable in the future if I wanted to put the stock unit back in.

Perfect for VW Passat 2003

No problem for a VW Passat 2003. Had trouble to remove the original stereo, but then it was very easy to fit the new stereo using the Metra

Clean look

Stock VW radio was hard to remove but the kit fit very nicely and is extremely easy to install. The only problem with this kit is it is just as hard if not harder to remove than the stock radio.

Radio reception problem solver

Perfect, just what I needed. I had no radio reception at all after replacing my factory head unit in my Volkswagen MKIII Cabrio. Then I came across this factory amplified antenna to aftermarket head unit adapter. Low price and does exactly what it is advertised to do. I'm very happy with this item.

Not for 99 Audi A6 w/bose

Im sure this works fine if it actually fits but it is not the one if you have a 99 Audi A6 Quattro avant w/Bosé originally installed the one you need comes with rca cables and it’s a hot mess no matter what you try because the original speakers are wired through an amp rather than directly….. enjoy! Rating low because it specifically lists the vehicle as a fit and it’s not a fit

Perfect fit!

This works great on my 2004 VW GTI. PERFECT FIT WITH Pioneer AVH-P2400BT. All you need to do is screw on the 4 screws and snap the whole unit into the dash.

Perfect fit

I mean, what can I say. Fits like a glove... and not the one OJ Simpson had. This dash kit fit around my Pioneer double din like a loose condom. The set screws lined up and I thought it was going to not fit correct, but to my surprise the stereo lined up perfect as well. The fit inside the dash was tight (ohhhhhh yeahhhh giggity!). In the end the metra kit was the best choice because of the tight fit and the slight adjustability when setting the stereo, it gives an OEM flush look.

Works and sounds great

Fit like a glove, once I got the lower tabs from the factory brace bent down out of the way. Only gotcha....existing accessory power is 2.6 volts, this unit requires a full 12v. Closest is the power wire to the power windows (if you have them) or the accessory lighter output. I love the Bluetooth and sounds great.

Amazing everything.

First let’s start off simple. I’m not a huge car fix it your self guy. So this was a little different putting it in my Nissan. But honestly it was easy as easy can get. It’s a great radio for the price as well. Since I’ve had it for about a week I’ve loved everything about it. The customization with the colors , the equalizer, and the Bluetooth connectivity. Truthfully I’d tell anybody to get this. You will not regret it one bit.
