Great budget head unit

Installed this in an '07 Honda Civic and it's working well. Bluetooth works great, hands free calling is surprisingly clear (no background noise or any kind of "under water" sound I've had with other hands free decks. The head unit has 3 pari of pre-amp outs which was perfect for this build. I've used Pioneer head units over the years for a cost effective factory replacements and this one lives up to their heritage.

great stereo

Easy blue tooth iphone set-up and integration. great sound, haven't had a day of bright sunlight yet to see how readable display is in that condition so I'll see then. installed it in '05 subaru forester so it is quite the upgrade!

Amazing

The Pioneer is an awesome system. This is my 5th purchase. the FH-X730BS is a grand slam compared to any stock system that the F-150's have to offer. sorry Sony. :-( The highs/mid ranges are far superior to stock. The bass frequencies are very dynamic. I like the way I control the bass to be low and smooth. The EQ. is terrific. I hear the FULL range of all instruments being played. I like it when Van Halen uses the echo effect. Lastly. It fills my crew cab (4 door) nicely.

This is an excellent HU. 2008 JEEP WRANGLER with JL components, Polk amps and Kenwood sub. For all of this, THE needs to provide a lot of detail optionss....and this pioneer does. Great eq abilities, crystal clear sound, and a lot of detail adjustments for each speaker, which is great for fine tuning. Really impressive especially for the price. Remarkable. And the colors are awesome too. Just a great unit.

Pioneer Does Excellent Again

I ordered the Pioneer FH-X730BS through SonicElectronix and got installation parts for free/discount. Similar to other Pioneer double DIN models, this one weighs about a can of soda. After I installed all the wiring, it was simple as plug n play. Some of the wiring for the aftermarket wiring harness typically won't be used unless your vehicle has the options for parking brake, reverse, and V.S.S. Fits perfectly in an 02 Volkswagen Jetta GLI with the Monsoon Audio. I like how Pioneer made 3 sets of pre- outs on the back for Front, Rear, and Subwoofer options for expansions.

Overall, it's packed with a lot of features for enabling filters and other custom EQ's for making the most out of your system. The screen itself is clear.

I'd recommend this Pioneer Double DIN to anyone wanting a serious upgrade in audio fidelity and flexibility with adding additional audio equipment.
