Amazing Sound

The Pioneer FH-X731BT pumps out amazingly rich sound, especially with the bass, picks up more stations than my Sienna's stock receiver, and gives additional bang for the buck by allowing the driver to access Bluetooth, charge their phone, use the speakers when making a calls, and listen to Pandora, Spotify and other popular stations. Very, very happy with this product and hope I can find one that's similar for my '05 Tundra.

Pioneer Double Din FH-X731BT

This Stereo has all the functionalities I need, and they all work great. The sound is superb, much better than my stock Mercury stereo. The menu may be a little too involved for my technical savvy, but through trial and error I get most everything I want. I would recommend both the looks and the quality, which at the offered price are outstanding. Even got the display to match the standard Mercury digital panel green . Good beyond expectations.

Pioneer stereo

The unit works very well. The FM reception is a little weak but it might be due to the antenna connection that Pontiac used on this car.

Pioneer the Best

Pioneer has always performed the best of all stereo and receivers that I have ever owned. This particular one "FH-X731BT" required slight modifications to my Ford F150 Supercrew when installing, but looks great. Of course, it's a Pioneer so it also sounds great. I love all the different features. Years ago, you would need separate amps, equalizers to get good sound. This sounds great and has built in equalizer with separate memory settings for different music. It also has the separate amp outputs which I didn't use as it gets loud enough with quality sound thru my pioneer speakers. Used free tech support before install to make sure that I had right connection as I had a couple of wires that were not needed. Used the email support at night and had answer the following morning. Great product and price. Also love that support is there with answers as needed. Really like the buttons and Knob for controls. Not ready for touch screen as have to many problems getting touch screen smart phone to work while in sun. Not sure how well a touch screen stereo receiver will work in hot vehicles with sun beating on them. This stereo receiver is a good deal and a good price. My wife and I both love the quality sound.

Nice Radio, Lots of Features

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my niece. Let me say from the beginning that my niece is very tech challenged. When I was planning this purchase she was away at college so I had to collect the pertinent information from her over the telephone and via text message. This is pertinent to this review since most of what she told me was incorrect (starting with the model of the car it was going into). Having said that, right off the bat the installation didn't go well, the radio was too big to fit the opening. After a little judicious use of an oscillating multi tool it fit like a glove and looks like it came in the car.

As for the radio itself, once installed it worked well. Sound quality is excellent even with the crappy factory speakers (I suspect that they won't last long). Since it was not installed in my car I didn't bother with reading the user guide to check all of the features. I just did the basic setup, told her to read the user guide, and gave her the car back. As I have said she is very tech challenged but she has been able to figure out all of the functions. When I spoke to her a couple of days later she was very happy with the new radio. I also spoke to her mother to ensure that there were no issues that she did not tell me about. She is able to stream Pandora, listen to the radio, store station presets, and use her phone hands free. If she can figure out all of the functions the user guide must be more than adequate and the unit would have to be pretty user friendly.

None of the issues that I had with the installation reflect poorly on this unit. Overall, at the price point, I don't think you can beat this unit. It has an abundance of desirable features and is user friendly. I would recommend this unit for any compatible installation.

Awesome product for anybody looking to upgrade from their factory stereo. Ive always loved the sound quality that Pioneer stereo's offer and with this unit, it is no different. The eq settings might be a little confusing to an inexperienced user but for me they really allowed me to fine tune my system to perfection. Aside from sound quality, the sleek look of this stereo is definitely a bonus. Looks great in my car and matches the interior.

Very good value

Haven't had a bad Pioneer yet. Bluetooth works perfectly, very easy to install the mic. Needed the 3 pre-amp outputs for my system. Very logical to use and set up the way you want. Easy install, great sound. Didn't need a video player so this ticked all the boxes I needed and didn't break the bank. Highly recommended.
