Nice sound

Bought these to replace the stock door speakers in a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage DE, with the Metra 82-4300 1" Universal Speaker Adapter Brackets, Metra 72-8104 Speaker Connector Harness for Select Toyota Vehicles, and Ballistic SSSK 1.4 sq. ft. Ballistic Series Sound Deadening Speaker Kit (2 Pieces 10" x 10") mounting accessories. I wasn't sure these would fit - so I had Best Buy install the front door speakers. When they didn't have any problems I got a mechanic/maintenance friend of mine to do the rear doors for a couple beers. If you DIY getting some trim tools made it easier and looking it up on the internet can help you get the doors apart and back together (We used Paul's Travel Pics for the Mirage). Overall things went smoothly, but some drilling was required to mount the speakers. The wire harness adapters worked perfectly (even though they say Toyota)and I was glad that we had them. The sound was a step up from the stock speakers, and even more so when we replaced the stereo head unit. If you open the doors up you may also want to add some sound deadening material. The speaker kits we put in helped, but the more you put in the better. Messing with the EQ I can get anything from nice balanced sound, to a thumping car using only these 4 door speakers. I bought these because of the great range they display for a speaker of this size.
