Good speakers

Good speakers on skar 60.4 amp. my buddy asked if I had tweeters and I don't. goes to show that the highs r great and the bass they produce is pretty good. I O-scoped both my amps n my system sounds super clean. They have crisp sound great speakers for the price also have the pioneer TS-A 6x9 5-way give good bass. I recommend the pioneer TSA series and SE. Durability is a 4 only cause I've had speakers only a couple of weeks.

Decent speakers

Very good sound for the price, good looking speakers. I hated to cover them under the door skins! When I add a sub and defer the heavy bass to them instead, they will be a great part to the whole system. They put out decent punch but need help. Mids and highs are fantastic and clear.

Good sound for the money...

Definitely a nice sounding speaker, however I recommend pairing them with an amp. They sound much cleaner when they get enough power. I'm running 2 pairs hooked up to a Power Acoustik RZ4-1200D and they sound great.

Great Budget Speakers

These things are one of the best values I've gotten in a month. These produce a good loud clear sound even without being amped. They hit pretty deep and still pretty clear and at nearly all ranges. Great buy.

OK considering price

These speakers were a replacement for factory door speakers in 2007 silverado classic. They are an alright basic replacement, but not if your looking for a good bass speaker. They are good considering the price though.

These speakers along with the pioneer 5way 6x9s sound good especially amped. Great crisp sound the guy that said they don't sound better than stock doesn't under stand his deck throws same power on his stocks as these if he would at least throw a ill 4channel amp he woulda heard a difference. If u like these speakers get um the only way ur guns like or not like um is hearing um ur self

What a great service and company

I found this service online and went to dealership to find out my problem with my speakers after I was told 260.00 for just two speakers. What a great online find for what I wanted.. I bought a great and I mean jamming set of front and rear speaker set for my 2008 Chevy Silverado and pioneer really made a great speaker for my needs.. You can call this online company and they can help you with any advice and they where mailed out so fast I was shocked.. A very great deal and friendly free service..!! The bass and the twetters make the highs and lows very clear and I would buy them again if I had to, Thank you all and keep up the great service.

I purchased two pair of these Pioneer 4 ways for a suv . The highs were awesome ! Had them running off of a small Rockford 4 channel amp . I was very pleased with these speakers . This is a very good buy for under $65 bucks you can't beat this deal . I would buy again !!

Not worth it

Bought a pair to go with a pioneer headunit I have. They sound just like standard OEM speakers. Actually, OEM speakers sound way better.

Good Upgrade

I used these to replace my door speakers in my Caddy truck. It was a nice upgrade, I can definitely tell that there are more vocals coming through and pretty clear, crisp sound. They don't sound as great as expected but I still have them connected to the factory amp. I'm sure they'd sound and handle much better connected and tuned to an aftermarket amp.

Decent

These pioneers are a great bang for the buck. They sound good. Only some small complaints. I dont think the power rating is right. They don't seem to be able handle the power of my amp and its only a 750 watt Kenwwod 4 channel amp at about 60 watts RMS per channel. The amp is turned at half gain with all the settings on my head set down... Don't get the wrong idea they come in nice loud and clear...Just watch the power and get the settings right and they will last you a long time. Pioneer has always been a reliable brand that I have trusted for years. If you want it LOUD and ear blasting you may want to look some where else.

All I can say is wow. Just wow. These speakers were a great investment and I am standing by them 100%. They sound amazing and they are tuned just right for the 4-way.

Great Speakers, Cheap Price

These speakers sound great. I installed them in the back seat and now I hear them better than my fronts. Time for new front speakers.... What more can I say .... Their PIONEERS !!!!

good speaker sounds great

I bougt two pairs and run them off of the 1200 watt pioneer amp. they sound good really clear and pretty good bass reproduction for a small speaker. Only wished they had a higher wattage rating so I could really put the watts to them. Overall I would buy them again.

Great Sound

These speaker are pretty great. Installation was relatively easy, The speaker frame was slightly smaller than the stock speakers in my '97 Sebring, but once I got them in, the sound was better than I expected. They have a full sound, the lows pack a good punch without being overbearing. The mid and high frequency response provide very clear sound without being too harsh. For the price and sound this is a very smart buy for me and anyone else.

Incredible Speakers

For the price I paid, absolutely worth it. I installed four identical speakers in my '96 Chevy Blazer. It was tough to fit the rears, but other than that they fit flawlessly and work well. I have had my system installed for about 2 months so far with no issues. Pros: look great, sound wonderful, easy to install. no cons.

It is not a direct fit for 1998 Honda Accord!! You will have to cut the factory speaker brackets to make the speaker fit. Other than that, the speakers are an upgrade over the factory door speakers.

Pioneer TS-A1685R - Great Value on a Budget

I had bought these Pioneer TS-A1685R 6.75 speakers to replace a blown Pioneer TS-A1782R that I installed 3 yrs ago. They are being powered by a JL XD600/6 in a 2003 Altima SE. My deck is a Premier
DEH-P880PRS and the sub is a 12 Kicker Cmp Vr. These speakers and ampsare temporary for a Seas speakers / Genesis amps install.

They act as the front door speakers and I have the Pioneer TS-A6993R 6x9's in the rear deck. The sound is very good. They still have to be tuned in and do require about 10 more RMS watts than its predecessor. Right off the bat I can say it does have a more "laid back" sound to it and is a little softer on the highs- not as harsh. The lows sound the same and the mid range still needs to be dialed in. For the money.. its a great deal.. and very good sound. I would expect them to last another 3-4 yrs of some hard listening.. but they are temporary for a more higher end setup. I am sure they will come more alive when I feed them some more power... and/or I switch to a Class A/B amp.

Overall.. they sound very good - great. I recommend.

Great Speakers for the price

I bought 2 pairs of these for around $50 dollars each can't beat them for the price they replaced some Alpine Type S speakers and were actually an improvement crystal clear highs and pretty good midbass for cheap door speakers

Sorry, but I would not recommend these Pioneer 4 way speakers to anyone. 1 blew on me within a few weeks. Save your money and buy better quality speakers. Also, there is no need for 4 way or 3 way unless you like alot of highs in your sound. I don't know why they make these at all. Hope this helps you in your decision. Thanks.

Pioneer Speakers

I purchased these speaker about 6 months ago. I must say it was money well spend, this product was delivered on time and I was informed on the status of it's location while in transit. The performance of the speakers if great!! They are very clear and loud, I turn up my radio almost all the way and you can tell the speakers can handle so much more. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a simple upgrade to there car audio system.

Pioneer Speakers

I would recommend these speakers to everyone. I purchased these speakers to mount in the saddle baggs of my Harley Davidson. On the bike scene we have a saying, I pound I ride, and with the Pioneer speakers, it gave that quote a whole new meaning! Now as I pound the pavement my music pounds as well.

I put these in a 02 avalanche up front instead of the components, overall, I am very happy so far, they seem to be a step up, and they didn't hurt the wallet to bad.

A Trade Off

So first and foremost, these speakers work great, no problem with them at all. The problem lies in the car. I am putting this one here to warn people of the problems. I have a 2000 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. These DO NOT fit in the front doors like cru*******d says.
1. The speaker baffle is too small for the speaker, and has 3 holes instead of 4 for the speaker to drill into.
2. I went to 3 professionals and asked what to do about the speaker baffle problem, and they all told me, is what the do is just drill it into the door itself, and thats it.
ONE PROBLEM!
If you were to do that with these speakers, when you go to slide the window down it will hit the back of the speaker!!!
Don't buy these for this model car unless if you want to lose to use of your windows. That is all. Great speakers though!

Not to bad

I bought these and put them in my 2011 optima with the stock headunit. Very very clear but with out bass blockers or anything the tweeters get too much bass and get very distorted and crackle.

These are a nice set of speakers. They sound loud and clear. Your not gonna get any bass out of these though.

Excellent Speakers

I have used many brands of speakers in the past. These are definitely a great addition to any system. They cover the mid to high range extremely well; and are quite effective in the low range. If you are looking for good all round sound these will do the trick. I gave them a few weeks at low to moderate volume for break in. I noticed a dramatic improvement in sound quality and range. Excellent buy especially at the price. Huge improvement over the stock equipment.

Beastly range!

just installed these speakers along with pioneer 6x9's with a 1000 watt boss amp. these speakers have tremendous range and bass. def. didn't expect the bass and clarity and would recommend these over my previous alpines.

Highly Recommend

i installed these in the rear deck of a 96 toyota tercel and love them. they work great off of head unit power alone. very seamless low-mid to high response and tight, respectable lows. the soft dome mid provides super warm mids and the two 3/8ths tweeter extend smoothly and cleanly out of audible range. the woofer cone is light and responsive enough to handle the low-mids very well. my one concern with the design of this speaker is the relatively large gap between the woofers pole piece and voice coil former. if you are mounting this vertically, like you would in a door, then it wont be a problem. but as for me, mounting this speaker facing up, it is exposed to the crust and dust coming from above. we will see if the speaker has to be visited by a can of compressed air in the future. other than that, i highly recommend and am very impressed by this speaker!

Good sound and good value

These sound great. This is what you want in a speaker. Came with mounting hardware and connector to wires.

I bought four to go into a 2002 Suburban. In the front you will need self tapping metal screws. In the back you can use the plastic mounts on the factory speakers and wood screws of the same size and depth as the factory which has a head that is too large to re-use.

Good speakers..

These speakers are very good... not the best out there, but budget friendly and sounds good. I always buy Pioneer head units paired with Infinity speakers w/ RF amps. These speakers fit the bill nicely but I'd probably go with something else with better SQ.

Problem

This radio will not read very many songs, there is a limit which is frustrating. If you have a large library, this isn't the radio.

Bought these Pioneer 4 way speakers to replace the crummy oem speakers in my 08'GMC Sierra. They sound great. No 6 1/2 speaker is going to kick you in the chest but these have a nice full sound. Pioneer quality at a great price!
