Sound good with aftermarket head unit and no extra amperage

Good Fit

I bought these speakers to replace the original 4x6 front speakers in an 82 Trans AM. These speakers are a perfect fit! They sound pretty good for a 4x6 speaker. I installed a pair of Pioneer three way 6x9's in the rear, and these 4x6's augment the 6x9's very well. Decent bass, and no distortion.

I have these in my pickup. I was quite surprised at the sound this small speaker puts out.

i installed these pioneer 4x6's in the dash of my 79 corvette. they're part of a complete upgrade to include pioneer 6x9's, a pioneer shallow mount 10" sub, pionner head unit, and alpine amp. everything sounds great. all speakers run through the amp. the 4x6's specifically, since they are what review is for, sound clear with no distortion even at higher volume levels to defeat wind noise while cruisin down the highway with either windows down or even t-tops out. would highly recommend these pioneer 4x6 4675r's to anyone.

Quality

I use to have a set of these in a car I use to own. They don't really throw out any bass but they have amazing clarity. I am currently thinking about buying another set. I would recommend these speakers to anyone looking for crystal clear sound.

Installed these in the rear shelf on my Fiat x1/9. The bass is not strong as expected. They do seem to handle the high power listening levels quite well. Now I need something to fill in the bass. Good value on these for this price.

I am very impressed with these speakers. I installed them before I put in the rest of my system for a couple of weeks and I have to say it was a 100% improvement over the stock ones in my Silverado. Now with my complete Pioneer system in they are really awesome. Clear, clean, crisp sound... I love that.

At first when I bought them and installed them. I thought 1 was blown because of static but turns out it was only wires impeding through the speaker wire. A quick fix of moving wires and now the sound great and very loud not much bass but that's why I have 2 12's

I installed these speakers in my 2000 Silverado to replace the factory rear speakers along with the front Pioneer TS-D1702R speakers. The system sounds awesome! Better than my Bose system in my Corvette. One of the best car stereo systems I have ever owned.

As Always, A Great Deal on a Great Product

I did an OEM speaker upgrade for a friend, and found exactly what I was looking for through Sonic. It's a rare day that I can't find what I need, and if I see it someplace else for less, Sonic always beats it. I had a 20 year old Silverado that required some odd-ball dimension speakers, and found them right away with the vehicle specific match here.

I really can't say enough good things about this place; the fact that I point anybody who needs stereo equipment here is my highest compliment.

Good speakers for the money

These speakers sound quite nice for $50, the bass is limited due to their size but they have good mids and highs, very good replacements for crappy blown speakers. Wouldn't be able to handle an amp though.

Ok speakers

these speakers are good for the price. They put out incredibly clear mids and highs. but the bass is not so great... Overall, definitely worth the money.

Pioneer TS-A4675R

The speaker has good sound and is a good product but the speaker cover/screen is not what I had hoped for! They break the mount tabs easy and are half open which depending on how you mount them shows the edge of the package tray!

Pioneer TS-A4674R

I installed these in the in dash of our 87 GMC Jimmy fit perfectly in the factory hole. These were a great choice to compilment the Pioneer TS-A6974R I put in the back panels. Along with the Pioneer deck.
I like Pioneer products they are always good quality and hold up well in our offroad vehicles. And of course Sonic has the best price and fast shipping !

Decent

For the price they are alright. I have a single cab pickup with 300 watts going to the sub, which is more than enough power. I drive a lot, and whenever i drive the volume is all the way up. These speakers sounded great for the first 2 months or so, and now they are alright. I have 90 watts peak power just out of the head unit to the speakers, and after a few months of just beating them they start to get a bit distorted. Which i expected for the price. I just have to adjust the high end sounds and they get back to good sound quality. For the price they are alright, but if you are looking for excellent high powered sound out of them, I suggest spending a bit more and going to component speakers. If you are looking for a bit heavier sound out of a stock unit, these will definitely hold up. Overall you pay for what you get, for the price they are good, but if you want to have a loud system, buy a nicer speaker.

Don't waste your money on anything else. These speakers are the real deal. Huge upgrade from Kenwood 2-way speakers. Highs are great without any distortion. Top of the line product.
