Critique of the A6880R
This speaker was a great upgrade from stock in a F-150 application. It did it's job of mid and high reproduction and I did not expect much in the low frequency so I was not dissapointed. If you have a need for good high reproduction (not phenomonal, but far superior to stock) especially if amped.
In the end, for something that is moderately priced it does a good job. If you want bass, buy a subwoofer to go with it as these are for mids and treble so do not bother trying to use them outside of their purpose range.

They are a decent speaker...I would rather modify my car to accept a 6x9 or 6.5...they do not put out much bass...but they will sound great amped.

pretty decent
i put these in my fullsize bronco. they sound good for mids and highs. I think for lower power/stock systems these are a good addition.

I have not had any problems with these speakers. I have a Mercury Mountaineer and put these in the front door so I could have that extra treble and bass where I was going to be listening to it. I would not recommend these in the rear doors though. Need more bass for the rear.
