good sound

after putting these in and connecting to a 200w amp they sounded great. they deliver good, loud, clear sound with the right amount of bump in the trunk. they sit pretty deep too with very easy install.

Pretty good for the price

These speakers are not terrible, but they do require an amp to really shine. The highs are nice, but again, can be shrill unamped. Lows are a bit weak.

Cleaner Sound

Replaced the factory 6X9 with these in my '09 Tacoma. Sound is a lot cleaner but lost a little on the low end from the stock speakers.

pretty decent

These are a nice pair of 6 x 9s. What I like best about them is they're 5 way... meaning five speakers in 1. So the louder the better and more clear the speakers sound.

pretty good

I got these in my front doors running off about 60 RMS they bump pretty good. Rattle my side mirrors and my front doors on there own. only thing is i notice a little distortion from the bass at high volumes but i think its just all that rattling. if you get these in the front doors I really suggest some Dynamat to clear up the sound cause these speakers really bump when you push um. Probably one of these best speakers for under a 100 bucks

Excellent!!

The Pioneer TS-A6993R are highly recommended. They have the power capability of providing full range / digital sound through the rear deck. The bass is full, while the midrange and highs fill the air with true clarity.

Dissapointed

I have owned several pairs if these speakers in various vehicles. I believe (as well as everyone in dallas, tx who's heard my systems) that these 6x9's are the best you can buy. They are so clear and separate different instruments when listening to varing types of music. I list to a wide variety of music (mostly rap, oldies, rock and pop)
and these speakers handled them all flawlessly.

Great product for the $$$

I love Pioneer products and couldn't ask for more out of these speakers. They sound awesome even with a stock stereo and are super clean with crisp powerful bass.

LOUD!!

I have these speakers hooked up to a Kenwood amp running 60watts to all for in the back of my Ranger and these things scream!!! I have never experience such loud and clear highs in my life. No concert i have even been to can match the highs in my truck! The midbass is pretty good as well running from 50HZ up and they run really great at that. And the size of these speakers is amazing! the magnets are huge and they handle all the power i can give them and remain clear through it all. I am a heavy rocker and it is absolutely breathtaking when you listen to these speakers!
