Time saver

I bought this unit because I didn't want to spend the time building a box for the trunk on my firebird. It has just the right pop that I was looking for. It was a perfect fit sitting right under the package tray. Couldn't be happier.

Excellent Bang for the Buck and placement

I have had many JL stealthboxes in a few different cars and they have all been amazing! but on my vw GTI i didnt want to pay that kind of cash (600+) I dropped in an amp with a built in line convertor and ran a JL 12" in a ported box. Of course sounded great with tons of thump. Problem is i lost all my trunk for one sub...........

Ran across this sub enclosure at an amazing deal shipped and had to try it. Most reviews online that say this sub sucks are for the lower 400W model which looks identical to this one. This higher end version is PERFECT, runs excellent additional low end to my stock HU. Plenty of thump and i have my bass knob turned only a quarter and it bumps really nice and loud.

The best part about this sub and the main reason i bought it, is it takes up almost no space. And if i want to stack stuff on top of it i can easily because its down firing. If i want to fold the seat down and really use my hatchback space i just prop it up on its side and have almost all my trunk space. WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Works so well i actually have 3 friends who bought the same enclosure to put in their cars after hearing mine. One friend actually took out his spare tire in his mazdaspeed 3 and this enclosure fit perfectly in its spot.

Had it for a month and so far so good, great product.

Nice SubWoofer

I purchased this for my Silverado 2014. It turns out it does not fit. It is too big to fit under the back seat. I don't know what I am going to do with it now. It sounds great and I would love to mount it, but for the moment, I am stymied with it. I rated the ease of use lower because it wont fit. Not the product fault.

This sub hits HARD!

I'm very happy with this woofer. It hits hard for a shallow mount as long as you get a quality amp to power it! This sub SLAMS when it is paired with the Pioneer amp GM-D9601. The amp makes a huge difference, and don't make the mistake of buying a cheap amp to power it.

Perfect for small vehicles

This sub hits hard! It fits perfectly in the back floor of a Supercab ranger, takeing up very little space.
It sounds fanastic, it can pound along with a rap/EDM song and shake the truck, or dellicatly recreate a acoustic upright bass in classical music.

All over a great value for the output. it really fills out my system.

Small Size, Big Performance

Small enough to fit under or behind the back seat of a pickup truck while delivering big sound, clear enough to feel the bass without the window vibration of other subs. This can only be accomplished after some adjustments of the amp and head unit. Be patient, it takes a little time to find the right settings. This is a down firing sub which means it doesn't bounce like your regular subs but it sounds great. Hook it up with a mono amp so you can get the most of it. If all you want is a powerful sub with clean bass, this is a great choice.

Easy Inexpensive Bass Upgrade

I wired this in place of the stock "subwoofer" of the B&O system in my Audi. It takes up very little trunk space, matches the look of the interior and makes an astounding difference in the overall sound of the stereo.

For just over $100, it's a no-brainer. I'm sure it would sound even better with it's own amp, but see no reason to go to the trouble.

Note that the stock speaker is 8ohms and this one is 4 ohms. Doesn't seem to be an issue, but be aware.

Pioneer subwoofer

This woofer gives clean deep rich bass that isn't overwhelming. By this I mean it adds great sound quality for the occupants of the vehicle, not others walking down the sidewalk.

Lo. does everything I was looking for in a Sub. I listen to Heavy Metal, it has enough to bring the base out. especially with a PPI 900.5 amp. recommend if you are limited for space also.

Underwhelmed, but Good Value

Great box and look. Sub is good, but lows just aren't that low, despite stated frequency range. Performs like a good shallow mount would and should. Great for a simple add-on.

Good value Over all, hits hard but...

Building my sound system on a tight budget I decided to give this one a try, while for the money this is really cool package which sounds good, there are few minor stuff that could have been better. Like there is only two clamps I wish there were four, and the feet for the down firing sub could have been better if it was half a inch extra to give a little bit more opening cause right now the woofer cone may touch the carpet on the floor if not installed taking the really shallow depth in consideration.

Acura ILX / Honda Civic

I paired this speaker with an Alpine MRV-M500 amp and it sounds great and hits hard. I used a 4 gauge power wire. This is a great option for around $100. I have the speaker facing down toward the floor and It doesn’t limit my trunk space at all.

Great Thumper for the money

This down firing subwoofer is ideal for getting the most thump for the buck. I have a full sized van and put it under the rear seat. Could not believe the amount of bass it puts out. My last van had two 10" subs in it and cannot compare to this one!

Nice sound

This sub is clean sounding and very easy to place in the vehicle. The downward firing sub was exactly what I was looking for.

Pioneer TS-SWX2502

This is a small but powerful speaker. Gets the job done. I would recommend this for someone who does not have much space but still wants some thump.

Perfect for my needs...

I bought this particular speaker in search of one thing, a little added bump to my truck's system. Running a Lanzar 500w bridged into this Pioneer does just that. I'm not looking to advertise my system to the public, it's more for getting that full sound, that comes from hearing and feeling the lows. Running through my JVC arsenal head unit (which has almost limitless tweakability from a crossover standpoint) I've got the sound dialed in pretty tight. Coupled with my JL Audio components up front, this speaker food within in the system nicely. I highly recommend it, and Sonic Electronix had the best price going.
