Nice for the Price

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W300R).

These are good sounding subs for the price. You can deffinately tell theyre lower end subs, but they can hold their own. Good power. No Distortion. Overall a good value!

Excellent Budget Sub

I wanted to design my first system on a tight budget. I listened to this sub at my local Walmart and it fit the bill. The bass was good, the looks were great, and the price was excellent.

I have two hooked up to a SonyXM2002GTR 200Wx2@4ohms amp in a custom sealed box and these Pioneers are loud! With gain set at about 3/4 and my volume at a comfortable loud level, I can feel every hair on my body vibrate with the beat...pretty nifty.

I recommend these to anyone who isn't quite ready to shell out more than $400 for a sound system. People WILL hear you coming with these in your trunk.

GREAT DEAL!

These subs are absolutely perfect for the beginner as far as bass goes. I have 2 12" in my '92 Ford Explorer and they have rattled the rear gate handle off, busted a lot of rust off the frame, and loosened the carpeting(this is not a hunk of junk either). When I have my MTX 200 watt running about half gain, people can hear me literally coming about 1 mile away. Great subs!!!

Pretty decent

I have 2 of these subs but the model before and they are pretty good for their price. Although its taken me awhile to break these in they sound pretty crisp. I've been running them with a 1600 watt pyle pro amp but i would suggest something a bit smaller.. All in all these are good for any beginner upgrade

nice

i have 2 of these in a sealed box with a 1800 watt legacy and they hit hard. very good buy for the price. i have blue neons in my trunk and the subs look great with those on. could get better subs but of course for more money, these are a good kept secret.

loud as hells xD

I really recommend these subs :D A friend sold me the pair of subs in a ported box for $40 dollars. But i never imagine they could get extremely loud with berly 80 x4 (80 watts per subs) i have em hook up in my house and they even move ur clothes u are wearin on and it throws down everything with its vibration. EVEN THE DOOR MOVEESSS xD If u really want great sound for less money, then this is the secret. ;)

73' Malibu

Great sub for the price, I have 3 hooked up to a 2000 Watt amp and its good, plays low, and is accurate as long as the amp is good or at least turned with a medium to medium- high wattage.

Great buy

I have two of these in a q logic box. powered with a 800w pioneer amp. hit hard enough to rattle the spoiler off my car, has taken down my mirror on the windsheild, and rattled the carpeting off the back of the seats in the rear near the back window. if i set a quarter in teh center council cup holder, it will bounce the quarter out of the cup holder with no problem. whats funny is, the lows are set at 3 out of 10 on my receiver and the amp is turned almost all the way down.

Great buy

best pair for under $100

i purchased 2 of these subs and mounted them in a sealed ONIX box(39.99) and when you roll up next to a civic you will out bump $300 systems any day of the week. These are not compition subs so do not try to over power them but they can take short very high power drives

Bang for your Buck

This speaker is dope! I have one in a box hooked to a 200W Alpine amp, not even that much power going to the sub and the things still knocks! I pull up in the driveway and my neighbor hears me dumpin from 2 houses down! Ch'yeah! Obviously you could get louder and probably clearer with a better speaker, but for the money, this things will do the trick if you just want some loud bass. I listed to rap so this definitely worked!

Amazing for a beginner

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W300R).

I was absolutely blown away by the sound this sub produced when I first heard them in my friend's car. With only 150rms to two subs these blow away many subs rated at that much by themselves. They hit really hard, and really fast. They do not hit very deep, but they're beginner subs. Overall an awesome buy for someone looking to broaden the frequency range of their vehicle.

CHEAP!

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W300R).

very very good subwoofers for the price. not the greatest subwoofer but probably the best for the price. two performed beautifully on a Pioneer 760 watt amp.

Good Sub

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W300R).

This subwoofer is very good for the price. Even though it can't handle a lot of power, this sub can really hit. I had two of them installed along with a 1000 watt Xplod amp, only gives out around 165 watts RMS, and people told me they heard my car before they saw it.

junk

had this speaker but the dual voice coil one for a week and one of the voice coils fried and i hooked it up in the house and it completely blew. not worth the thirty bucks or even ten.

great sub

awesome sub for the money i have it hooked up to a 550 watt amp bridged in a truck box with polyfill and i have the gain turned up half way and it loosened the seat brackets for my power seats not bad for a 30 dollar investment from sonic electronix

King Kong

I have these in my ride right now. There good for starters or people that dont need a ton of bass. I have a 240W Pioneer amp hooked up to em and they rattle the car.

THIS POUNDS SOOO HARD

this is one of the best subwoofers for the price it bumps real hard if you hook up the right stuff i would personaly sugggest the pioneer primeer amp that has 1200 watts and wire it at 4 ohms so you still have alot of peak power and just the right amount of rms.. the rms might not be that much but trust me this sub pounds real real hard.

Good for money

Average looking sub. great pound for price. i paid $60 for these at walmart. Hard hitting bass, but not a super clear sound. certainly no MTX or Alpine.
