4 THUMBS UP

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W306C).

in my truck i used to have all pioneer (2 months ago) i had a 9600 mp, 2 510d amps, pushing 2 of these 306c subs. it hit so hard it broke my back glass out of my 83 chevy pickup. i had them in a probox and the box cracked. for the price of these, you cannot get ANY better. al my friends want me to trade them, even my friends cvr 12's.

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W306C).

I have two of these sub on an power aucostic 1200 watt amp and they hit so hard if I turn the bass boost all the way up I can set off car alarms from the opposite side of the street and I am really not running that much power to them only 600 watts a peice. Thus these subs are well worth the money and they are my favorite brand.

A Bang For Your Buck

If you want a lot of clear, deep, bass for a little cash, then these subs are what you want !! I purchased 2 and installed them in an pro box, these big boys have yet to let me down. It's like the more I throw at them the clearer and harder they hit. I know guys that have 1000 bucks or better into their sound system and to this day they think I paid the same thing because the W308D2's ,that they have no idea I have, perform with the really big boys. In my opinion, Purchasing these subs will give you a lot more than you pay for. Just make sure you get them from Sonic Electronix !!!!! You won't find these deals anywhere else.

good for the price

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W307D2).

For the amount of money these subs cost they're great. I have very litte space in my ram but they beat pretty good, I found the custom box for my ram online. They're sound doesn't carry if u don't have a lot of air space, so don't expect to be heard from a block away. overall I think they're good speakers the bass is deep and well put together I'm running with a JL audio amp.

Awesome!

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W307D2).

I bought 1 of these and hooked it to a Pioneer GM-7300M... This thing hits amazingly hard for that kind of wattage. i originally bought it planning on running 2 ohms, but when I got it I realized I made the mistake of ordering the wrong one... I kinda felt like the website mis-lead me because under impedance it reads "2 Ohms", but then again i should have realized that it was a dual 2 ohm voice coil sub and that it would really run at 4 ohms... Oh well I'm still really happy with it at the 250 watts from the amp. Trust me, it does hit really hard and sounds really great... I can only imagine how nice it is when hooked to 400 watts of power!

Best Subs Ive Owned Great Price For 1400watts

Okay i will admit I was a skeptical about these subs at first because of pioneers bad rep when it comes to subs but after comparing them to a pair of mtx I had and a pair of Hifonics Brutus that I as gonna get the specs seem good specially for 64.99 so I said what the hell and I ordered two of these bad boys and man do these beasts have some serious thump to them paired along side a 2400watt power acoustik amp each getting 450rms @ 4ohms man oh man my poor little focus sounds and feels like its falling apart my trunk looks it could pop open a second these are the real deal never again will I doubt pioneer subs!!!

It is a good sub

I like the way it sounded, very clean, tight bass. It wasn't overpowering and sure wasn't disappointing either. The only thing I did not like was the way it was built. It seemed a little cheap. As far as sounds go, it didn't sound cheap at all. Sounded like a nice quality subwoofer. It picked up highs and lows with ease as well. Just make sure you do not feed more than the rated RMS, It won't handle it very well.

These subs are awesome.

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W307D2).

I bought two of these and hooked them up with a 1800 watt power acoustik amp. They sound great! If you are looking for a quality system, but don't have a lot of extra cash, these are great for the money.

Not Bad...

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W306C).

These things are simply amazing… they sound great & have great lows… + they even hold a little juice… for this sub 2 not be their power house models… I put them on my Hifonics Gex X I Colossus !!! only in 4 ohm stereo & 2 12’s in a 4.0 gross cu ft sealed box + on a audiocontrol epicenter. So with that much air space & playing around 25 – to 45 hz they were under lots of mechanical stress. & they still held up… my X I colossus is a older (2 channel amp) that has a regulated power supply… so it’s continually kicking out a true 600w @ 4 ohms per channel… So they were also under lots of electrical stress as well… & they still survived. Best sub in entry to mid level classes for the price!!! My 4star rating is equal to 95% good…

subs bang hit sound good and last

Had these subs for about maybe 3 or 4 years strong. Unfortunately now its time for an upgrade. I'm most likely going to get the 3002 versions because they have more rms rating. These are lovely subs.

Wow!!

Just received a pair of these for custom sealed Subwoofer enclosure for my 2011 Camaro and they sound great!! They throw so much bass I had to turn the gain on my amp almost all the way down. They seem very well constructed and are very heavy.

Kicker

I had 2 of these and they hit really hard on my zx1000.1 kicker amp but when the lows kicked in they get hot and smell from the ports made me sad cuz they cant bump at all. for the price they're great but i got a 12" l7 (just one) and in the breaking-in stage it out powers both the pioneers. So if your looking for cheap loud subs these are for you but if you looking for quality bass I would recommend something else.. you get what you pay for.

Best BASS!!! For ThE Price And Size

I must admit that at first I was a little hesitant because of pioneer not being known for good subs but after shopping around I had settled on a pair of Hifonics Brutus 12"s 2000watts(pair) $99.00 each but then i stumbled on this website and after looking up some reviews I decided to give it a shot and behold I found these pioneers 2ohm dvc 2800watts(pair) $64.99each I checked out some vids on youtube of both the hifonics and pioneers and I was amazed at the response these were getting so I went for it two days later and here we are with half of my hearing gone after setting these up in a custom ported box with 1200watts rms at 2ohms from a MTX mono d class amp these things make ford focus shake and rattle like crazy my trunk lifts up mm's these things are the S%@#!!!!!!! GET THESE OR THERE PREMIER COUNTER PART($4.00 +)THEY WONT DISSAPOINT!!!!!!!!!

Verygood SQ and SPL + Great Value

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W307D2).

I have an older model and a newer model. Had the older one for over 2 years and it still sounds great, just got the new one. Hooked both up to a 800w RMS amp with a 1.5 ft. Ported box and wow they play very loud with good sound quality also. Can't understand why some people think pioneer has bad stuff, because its not. Its actually very good. Head units, Amps, Speakers and Subs.

Loud for the price

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W307D2).

I bought this sub because my other Pioneer sub blew and I was looking to upgrade. I should have taken a hint with the first one, DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED POWER!! I was pushing this sub with a RF Power 450s and RF 1 farad cap, in a 1.75cuft ported box. This sub gets very loud and I was impressed, but it couldn't take the 450watts rms. This would probly be a very good sub in a sealed box with about 350watts rms.

Estos woofer son super aguantadores, tengo uno hace aproximadamente 6 años y la verdad me salio muy bieno, el cajon tiene que estar bien fabricado para que tenga un sonido de largo alcance. Buen Woofer....

Absolutly Amazing

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W307D2).

I have two of these hooked up to a kenwood 1800 watt max (900) rms at 2 ohms amp. These subs are a lot louder then my friends kickers who has the same amp. They sound good and don't seem to get distorted at all when the music is turned up. i would recommend these to anyone who cant afford to spend a lot of money or to anyone who wants a good sounding sub.

GREAT Sound!!

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W307D2).

I have 2 of these in my little Honda Civic and they just about tear the little guy up! Haha! I have them hooked up to a 800watt RMS, 2200watt peak Soundstorm amp (from this site) and they pound so hard you'd think there's an earthquake going on! They handle the power amazingly, no distortion at all! I had to buy a cap to keep my headlights from practically turning off at night though. :) Oh, another thing that's nice is that they come with these foam rings that put a barrier between the sub and box to keep it from making any buzz or distortion.

Dont be fooled by the price

Great mixture of Sound quality and hard hitting bass, hits the low notes with ease and no bottoming out. So this sub I can honestly say is very good and for the price outstanding but I also have it in a small sealed enclosure round .90 cu ft so I dont know what it would do ported or even in a bigger enclosure but if your looking to put something in a small enclosure these babies will do the trick.

It's a really really awesome subwoofer. I'm the biggest fan of pioneer

By Money on January 24, 2021

Best bass for the buck, by far !

I have had this sub wired to a 300w RMS amplifier and it plays great !!

I give it 4 stars because the layout of the banana plugs, wich is one voice coil per side, gets you some trouble inserting the subwoofer in the box once wired, and it could have looked better !

A True Pioneer Product

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W306C).

This is a true pioneer, known for its dependability and quality. I didn't know about the quality of pioneer subs but I took the chance and bought 2 of them, now I just have 1 in a sealed box running off the 50watts from the head unit and I can already tell I am going to love these w/ an amp. Best value fo' show.

Amazing!!!

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W306C).

I was unsure about these subwoofers only because I had never heard them in anyone's car before, but once I got them and hooked them up I was completely blown away with the amount of SPL these subs deliver! I have a Kenwood KAC-9102D amp hooked up to them and I'm loving every minute of them. Highly reccomended and very high quality product!

Decent Subs (Not Much To Brag About)

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W306C).

Have a friend with 2 of these in a very small sealed box. He has a 94' Olds Cutlass. They are very loud (heard him up the street from my house in the basement). Very attractive looking subs. Doesn't take a ton of watts to make these things bang; and believe me they do quake. Reconmmend these to beginners. The sound quality (SQ)of these speakers is very bad. You hear the car rattle more than the subs. But that shouldn't be anything a little dynamate can't handle. Reconmmend you dynamate the whole trunk. I give these subs a 7 out of 10. Oh, and whoever said Kicker CompVR (CVR) are worse than these subs must be out of their f***ing mind!

Not to shabby

The following review is for a previous version (TS-W306C).

Upon getting these subs i was a little hastey, because i didn't know how Pioneer subs would actually hit, i mean come on they are from pioneer they make great speakers but no clue about the subs. Anyways once i put them in my 99 Si, i was actually really suprised on how they sounded. They hit real nice...not to much bass where it just sounds bad but then again it wasn't too little, it was enough bass to know i was coming down the street from about 1/4 of a mile away. Overall...really nice subs, they have a clear pitch to them, would recommend
