BMW E46 (3 Series) underseat powered subwoofer

I chose the Pioneer TS-WH500A for one primary reason - its 2-3/8" height was what I needed for the unit to fit under the passenger seat in my BMW 323i. In this model year (2000) the OEM underseat subwoofer was not an option, so you have to add your own to fill out the bass tones that were missing, even with the BAVSOUND upgraded speakers. The Pioneer TS-WH500A unit added just the right amount of bass for the 323i's relatively small interior space. Installation was relatively straightforward, and the unit tapped directly into the rear shelf speakers through a simple splice. Very pleased with the performance, and the price was more than justified.
