This is a very durable amp. Be sure to look at how much rms your subs are since this amp has ~1800watts rms, that way you don't blow them.

AMAZING AMP

I purchased this amp with the help of the amplifinder for 2 JBL MS12SD2 subs, The recommended gauge wire kit for this amp is wrong. the 1/0 is too big for the amp even with the eyelets installed. I had to go purchase a 4ga kit and everything works like it is supposed to! 2500w on these 2 subs is insanely loud

Great for the money

These were the first amps I ever bought. Had used them on Type R 10's. Only protected once, due to over-heating. I continue to recommend these to friends wanting value.

Do they do 1800 rms? No. They have 50 amps worth of fusing. Taking efficiency into account, they can only do about 600 clamped. After voltage drop and impedance rise, probably around 250 for music.

A few years later, I now have a DD M4a and a pair of Fi BTL N3's for my daily system. I plan to buy another one of these planet amps and burping my DD Z series at one ohm nominal.

this amp blew my 400 watt rms speakers in a day. i didn't think it was as described. don't underestimate the power of this low budget product. well worth the money
