I was looking for some bass in my 2004 Chevy Colorado. I replaced the factory radio with a Kenwood receiver and added the 8 inch powered sub. What a difference! It provided some solid bass. I was skeptical about the amount of bass I would get from a slim 8 inch sub. This unit exceeded my expectations. It provides a nice bump! I have used this for almost 2 years exactly and have the gain all the way up most of the time. The other day it blew. Contacting Sonic Electronix for warranty instructions. We will see what happens with that. I gave 4 stars only because it blew in less that 2 years, otherwise it would be deserving of a 5 star rating.

Just OK

This product works ok. It is for someone who has very little space or doesn't want to take a lot of space up for a little bass. It doesn't shake the windows of your car but it will vibrate your butt a little bit. I'm actually pleased with the amount of bass it puts out considering how small it is. I have it behind the drivers seat in my saturn sky and it sounds almost as good as the Monsoon subwoofer behind the passenger seat. I would consider this thing a woofer....not a subwoofer. It puts out a bass that is not as low as a 10 or 12 inch in a decent size box.
