Excellent product....excellent service

Did a Google search for an aftermarket radio to replace OEM in my '94 Corvette. What a lucky break for me when Sonic Electronix came up. Was not familiar with Planet Audio products, but decided to go with this unit and ordered the wiring harness that would let me utilize my current Bose amp and speakers. Shipping was fast (2 days) and all arrived in excellent shape. I was intimidated by the wiring issue, so decided to use a professional installer. The installer had a question and contacted Sonic Electronix. The issue was handled professionally and I was soon on my way with my new audio system...great sound...GPS..backup camera, Bluetooth, DVD/CD/USB, etc. This unit has it all. Sonic Electronix is AWESOME!!!...my new 'single source' for audio equipment. Thanks for the great products and exceptional customer service.

no issues with unit works well. had professionally installed. The only issue I have is with the gps as how to get directions. probably operator error as this is the first gps unit I've had. Other than that everything is great...graphics,sound etc...I have it hooked up to a kicked amp with arc speakrs & it sounds great.

Good product, Small price

I would recommend this unit, it is very reliable. Has a ton of functions & great power output. The only thing I would add to it is like an equalizer background while music is playing. Otherwise it's great.

Nice for the price

This has a lot of bang for the buck. Easy install. And has a great sound. Touch screen works great. The nav system is a little on the cheap side but it will get you there. Overall a great radio

I am satisfied with my purchase. The best features for me is audio play back quality and the Navigation. My complaints so far is the low volume on the far end when I use my smart phone to make a call and the screen can be hard to see in daylight. I haven't installed the backup camera so I can't comment on that. Very Fast Shipping!!!!

Great Value but doesn't work in cold weather

Great value when it works...It freezes around 37 degrees. I would not recommend if you live in areas with freezing temperatures. In addition, it does not have ability to connect with your car current steering wheel controls.

Pleased with the Planet Audo PNV967RC

Installed in a 2003 Nissan Xterra SE. Was an easy install with the Metra 7551 harness. GPS works great as well as backup camera. Great deal at a great price.

Not an easy fit

I have a 2000 Mercury Grande Marquis. I chose the Planet Audio PNV967RC because it was in a list of units compatible with my car and I like the unit.

However when I took it to my fitter, he discovered that in fact it did not fit because the A/C duct work blocked the top half of the double din space. I was lucky enough to find a video on YouTube, explaining how to cut out a section of the A/C duct with a dremel and reseal it with duct tape. It still does not fit properly. it does not fully click into the cradle. What bugged me was the website said it would fit, it didn't and there was no mention of having to alter the a/c duct work

I love the unit it works great but it is not 100% secure. Love the reverse camera the speaker outputs.

I am giving the unit full marks but not the technical info for installation.

I'd recommend this if you wanted a good sound quality, DVD player! If you're looking at getting it for the Navigation it works but it don't have the features that my Pioneer has. you get what you pay for.

This radio sounds better than my $700 alpine. I am very pleased with it.
