Great for stock or low powered head unit

I got these to replace some crappy Boss speakers. It takes about half the power to get the same volume out of these RF's and the sound is far superior. Perfect compliment to my recently installed powered sub.

Outstanding

Installed in an 09 Grand Caravan, stock deck (for now). Speakers were installed in the back mid-panel. MUCH louder than stock, very clear, excellent bass. Very impressive, once again especially considering the stock deck. I recommend without reservation. Great speaker, unbelievable price. I cant wait to get a better deck that will drive these things the way they should be driven. Features get three stars because how many speakers can a 2 way 6x9 have? Maybe a swivel tweeter or something.

Rockfords with Kenwood receiver

I've had the 6x9s about 3 months and I'm very happy with them. They work great with the Kenwood 22watt receiver I also recently installed. Installation in my 2013 Nissan Frontier was relativity simple, even for a novice like myself. Other reviewers' description of these speakers are accurate. They are a great upgrade from factory speakers and make an appropriate match for the 22watt receiver. I listen to METAL, so the bone-jarring, window-rattling low-end is not really necessary; however, it does provide more than adequate bass for my needs, and I was surprised by the amount of bass I got from them. The mids are clear and relatively crisp depending on the CD I use. The treble can get as shrill as you want it. They begin to get muddy and break up when my volume is pushed past 28ish (out of 32). I hope this is helpful.

Great performing speakers!

I put these speakers in the doors of my old Dodge Power Wagon and they sound great. Nice smooth response with good bass. I've installed quite a few other 6x9 speakers in vehicles over the years, but none have sounded as good as these. These are not expensive speakers, but they put out the sound that you would expect to pay much more for. These 6x9's are the best bang for the buck!

Had to fabricate brackets to put into the cab corners of my 1974 GMC Single Cab Truck. And I tell you prior to putting these in I had just a shallow mount sub and two tweeters on the dash. It was okay but needed more. After putting these babies in... WOW!!! A lot of clarity and a real difference.

These speakers are great if your looking for stock upgrade and don't want to run an amp sound quality is crisp and clean lacks but lacks bass somewhat but I can turn my aftermarket stereo all the way up and these will not distort overall great bang for the buck

I bought these because my other ones blew their voice coils. These haven't blown and sound awesome. I use these mainly as mid and highs but if someone wants some low price type these are it.

Cant beat them for the price

I put 2 pair of these in my 2011 dodge ram crew cab 2500. Using them with a stock head unit. Huge improvement over stock equipment but these are not a drop in replacement. You will have to make the openings bigger to accomadate them. Worth the extra work though.

Pretty decent 6x9 2way speakers...great price

I have owned a few Rockford Fosgate products over the years and they have always been pretty decent quality and perform as expected. I was looking to replace the stock Alpine "Premium" audio speakers in my 2014 Ran 1500 Sport. The stock speakers were not very good and had a lot of vibration and mild distortion even at mid-level volume with the stock head unit...not good.

I removed the stock speakers and had to do some very minor trimming to get these to fit. A slim spacer would have been a good idea.

Once installed and now broken in the speakers deliver decent mid bass and as the front Ram speakers are cut off...I have no idea how well they sound as full range speakers. The do not distort even at full power on the stock head unit, and offer clear sound and a decent amount of bass.

Overall I am pleased with these and am considering a second set for the rear doors. I would recommend these as a good sound for value option for those on a budget.

Great speakers. fit in my 2004 Honda Accord coupe EX, but the factory speaker covers wouldn’t fit over them. Overall better than stock speakers, great quality, great price.

I was a little sketchy on buying these being the prime series but reading all the reviews i decided to give them a try. After receiving them i decided i would use my old school RF Punch 150 on these and wow they sound pretty good for low end RF. Couldn't be happier. My cavalier sounds incredible now compared to the factory speakers i had.

These Rockford Fosgate fit perfectly in our 2007 Jeep patriot. Very easy install. I purchased them to replace blown stock speakers and they sound amazing with just the stock radio. I will purchase from this company again when the need comes.
