Beats My Factory Speakers by Far - Lack Som Bass

These speakers are great and beat out the factory speakers that came with my car. Instantly I could hear a difference and so could my fiance who had no idea I switched out the speakers.

I replaced my mid speakers with the Polk Audio DB 652's and I could play my system at full volume and they did not become distorted or sound rattled. I noticed that compared to the stock speakers that they did not lose anything when turned up. I actually feel they performed better loud.

One thing I did find is that they lack a little bit of base. They are great with the highs but I need to balance out my system with a few other speakers that have some good mids.

I would recommend these speakers to anyone who are looking to replace their factory speakers or get something great to enhance what they are listening too.

Great sound clear highs at high volume, I didnt know it would be so clear and have such high highs have to adjust levels so it wont out do the woofer

I have recently Bought two of the Polk Audio DB572 DB+ 5x7 (DB 572 ) and they sound awesome and will be buying two more for the rear. I would definitely recommend these for the loud and clear sound ! the all weather protection is a plus. make sure you buy the speaker wire Harness Adapter

Polk Audio DB652 DB+ 6.5-inch (DB 652)

A substantial upgrade to the sound quality in our RV compared to factory installed speakers. Easy to install with all parts included for installation.

Only Con is that the Polk speakers made deficiencies in the factory installed AV unit more obvious. I will be looking for a higher quality AV receiver with more power and additional capability.

Great speakers

I put these in an '02 Tacoma prerunner 4 door. All of the plastic door mounts needed to be modified. I added 4 alpine tweeters in parallel to the Polk 5x7's for a 2 ohm load. 100w per channel amp and an 8 inch under seat subwoofer. The subwoofer makes it all come together!

Better than I expected

I've had these installed in the doors of my Scion FR-S for about 4 months now and they sound great. My doors are lined with Kilmat (Dynamat alternative) and it probably helps a lot with sound reproduction cause these things can definitely put out some bass for their size. These won't replace a sub or anything but they sure beat the factory speakers.

These are very bright sounding speakers out of the box. Good thing my head unit has an auto equalizing feature that uses a microphone to do time alignment and equalizing automatically. Now they sound great and aren't as bright as before. They're seeing about 100w rms to each speaker so a total of 200w rms and they are plenty loud.

All in all, they're great for the price and I'd definitely recommend these and buy them again for my other vehicles.

Easiest install ever

This was guess work as I needed them for a GEO Metro, and they are shown as fitting something else. Thank goodness the picture on the web is sharp and clear. Received two pairs and BINGO, this was the easiest install ever.

Wonderful sound

I just installed the speaker over the weekend, it is not a fair comparison of sound quality over the factory speaker. These speaker kick a**.
I can not wait for the weather to get better so I can drive my 350z with the new sound system cranked.

Adapting Subaru Front Speakers

These adapters work great for adapting aftermaket front speakers to the stock wiring in 02-07 Imprezas. The small tab on the stock wiring plug needs to be removed and then this is plug and play.

i got these because i was tired of my factory speakers in my car and was told speakers were an easy upgrade, watched a few videos and had them in in about an hour, sounds so much better than before. these are really well built speakers, i was surprised how thin they are.

Why wouldn’t you get some of these. They have the correct size terminals for the speakers. You don’t have to cut anything. These are an easy decision. Everyone should use them.

Didn't work on a 2010 Subaru Outback rear door speakers

I think the price and quality are fine. They just didn't work as intended on a 2010 Subaru Outback rear door speakers. Other than that I have used same brand and similar products in the past and they worked fine.
