The Best Sound I Ever Heard

I could not believe the sounds I heard come out of these things. I play reggae all the time at the highest volume and these things just don't fail to show perfect performance. I'm running a set in a maxima with 100 watts rms to each channel. The tweeter is what stands out the most about the set because ring radiators are the tweeters found in house speakers. When installing them, your going to have to find a place to stick the corssovers which are rather large. The are a bit costly too, but trust me, they are worth it.

Simply the best

These are the best speakers I've ever heard. The are crystal clear, loud (when you want them to be), deep, and not at all harsh. The voices male and female are reproduced flawlessly. I pay metal to classical to jazz the the SR6500 are great for all!

One of the nicest speakers I have used so far.

These speakers have the nicest sound of any speaker in this price range, I was accually shocked at the quality. The crossovers are very nice, with the option of Bi-Amp and Tweeter Levels. Highly recommended seperates.

WOW!!

After having this speakers in my car for 6+ months, I can't be happier. I love the hard beating bass and the tweeters are so accurate you won't believe it. You can expect the most incredible sound to come out of this speakers. Once they break in, you'll just be astonished every time you get in your car. Worth every single penny.

Polk SR6500

After much research and getting reviews from both magazines and others that have heard these, I decided to take the plunge. A few dollars later, I have the best speakers I have heard to date. (Keep in mind I install audio for a living)

The first day I got these, I half-a**ed them into the doors of my '07 F150 Extended cab, running through two channels of a JL 300/4. They were by far the worst I had heard. As many people had said (including Polk's "White Paper") I needed to let them wear in a little bit.

Within the first week, I was starting to get a bit more mid out of the driver and that progressed on constantly for the next week or so. By the end of the break-in, I was satisfied that I bought these to take the place of my JL XR-570CSi's.

But they really shined when I took the time and effort to mount them in the doors correctly with a fully deadened door and mdf baffles. I also then rewired the JL 300/4 into 150x2 @4ohm. Then ran 12ga from the backwall (I mounted the HUGE X-overs there) to the mid and tweet. Thanks again Mr. Polk.

Sweet Sweet Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!

Focal, MB Quart, Pioneer PRS look out! This is an incredible step by Polk in producing one of the cleanest, most pure sounding components systems my ears have ever had the pleasure. if you are looking for the highest SQ without sacrificing SL, look no farther! You will not be disappointed - in fact you will be playing music your have listened to for years and hearing notes and symbols crashing like never before. These units truely bring your music to life. This is not silly kid stuff - this is the only choice for SQ and front stage perfection! Look no further. Start to enjoy your music they way the sound engineers has intended!!!!

One of the best component systems ever made!!

I have been into car audio for almost 30 years and I have listened to almost every decent brand of car audio. Let's just say I remember MB Quart when it was still made in Germany....
These components by Polk Audio are so good, I am trying to find another set now. I'm not even sure how old these speakers are that I have, but they sound so good, oh my so, so good. I've never heard a set of Bostons, or Focals, or MB's, or Morel sound anything close to these. Well, maybe close but at thousands more cost. I am writing a review on these because I am absolutely blown away. I was never a Polk Audio fan until about 2 weeks ago when I scored these on a trade.
I am powering these with a Phoenix Gold M25 and I am probably about to bi-amp these SR6500's to see if they would like some more power.
If you have a set of these, you know what I'm talking about.
