CHEAP

Its the 2 gauge kit that is really more like a 6 gauge or 8 gauge kit. The wires are small gauge and there is more rubber on the kit then actual wire. Kind of cheaply built but it does the job I needed it to do.I'm kind of disappointed but you get what you pay for

4ga

I just pick this kit up the other day, its ok but its not true 2ga! I'd say more like 4ga or 6ga. But all in all it seems to be worth the 38 bucks I spent on it.

Good for the money

The rubber insulation on this is about the only thing that is actually 2 guage in this kit. But that is to be expected for the money. The RCA's are pretty nice, and this kit works.

I've been powering an alpine MRP M-1000 and two Rockford P2's for almost a year now. Sounds good. The amp is getting plenty of current. No problems so far. If your looking for a quick cheap kit with everything you need to put some subs in a car, this is it.

garbage

absolutely garbage. DO NOT BUY THIS KIT!!!

the remote wire is so thin the second you bend it, it breaks. the power/ground wire isnt 2 gauge, more like 4 gauge and it isnt copper wire either, id say its copper wraped around aluminum which isnt good.

worth the money

I have installed quite a few stereo setups in my day and the wiring kit I just received works just fine. Just be realistic in the application you're using it for and you will be fine. It is perfect for amps under 1500w. If you are using more than that then you should probably go larger.

Not 2AWG

Not true 2gauge wire. 80amp fuse. Not enough ring terminals for hook up, especially if using a capacitor. Thick insulation is a plus.

Garbage

This wiring gauge including the exterior insulation. I had to put "super 4 gauge" wiring of my own in. It's not even real copper. Don't settle for this junk. The only worthwhile parts in the kit were the ANL fuse and the speaker wire along with the terminal ends. With this product you basically get what you pay for.

Not 2 gauge

I consider myself a budget minded audio guru so when i came across this wiring kit i jumped at it and bought it. This wiring kit is just a sales ploy to save money on manufacturing and sell a sub-par product. The wire is the equivalent of a 6 gauge power wire once you strip off the insulation, presenting a huge fire hazard for anyone hoping to power a large system with this kit. In the end it comes down to you get what you pay for and in this case that rings true.

great product

Great material for the price. Easy to slice wires. Very heat resistant. I would recommend this product to anyone. Just remember your looking for a kit that can handle the wattage you are looking for.

good kit

all in all its not a bad way to drop 50 bucks. its not a true 2g wire but its better than a 4. the kit comes with plenty of wiring for any vehicle and has a good casing so you dont have to worry about it being punctured or anything. i would suggest it for set ups with no more than 1600w.

Decent for the $

This is definitely not 2 gauge wire. I only needed 4 gauge though, but all the 4 gauge is a lot more like 8 gauge haha. So this size wire works fine for me. It still powered my 1200 watt hitron amp fine. I did blow an external fuse on it though. The fuse that comes with the kit is pretty cool. I mounted it into my battery housing. Long story short, this isn't the best kit out there, but for the money I'd say that it's more than acceptable.

great buy

the only bad thing about this kit is its not a true 2g. its more like a 4g but its still able to handle a lot of power. the wires have a thick but flexible cover. the fuse and its cover is extremely durable. on the box it says it doesn't come with speaker wire but its in there. and there's a lot of it. I barely used half of the wire they gave me so there is def enough for any vehicle. this is a great deal for the price.

Probably not true 2 ga but it definitely gets the job done. good enough for my two 10" subs and my 1000W hifonics. never had a problem with it and it truly is a great price.
