A must

I am use to Hifonics amps where the bass remote controls the bass boost. With this amp the bass remote actually controls the level of the amp. You have to have it hooked up in order to get full power because it is automatically set at a default level of low. So in order to get full power you must hook up.

Review

Its an awesome amp. Only problem is its blown 4 subs, so on that side not so good, they dont make very many subs with the wattage that amp gives out.

Power Acoustik A1800DB

I bought this amp for my Splw-12 sub, it's rated at 2200 watts max and 1100 RMS. This amp delivers every amount of power it said it does. I'm running at 2 ohms so this amp is perfect for my sub. Overall this is a very good value but I wish the cosmetics were a little better.

Nice amp....

This amp is actually better than i thought it would be, its nice and durable but it is overrated indeed. it pushes my p3s really good and it sounds clean. only thing I'm now scared of is it gets hot after 15 minutes of playing.. but i would recommend this amp, very good for the price

Great Amp

I have this amp pushin 2 12" Hifonics Zeus' and they pound. I have the amp running at 2 ohms which is rated 1100w rms. I can sit outside my car and watch the back window rattle. You definitely have to give this amp power and make sure all your connections are good. I have 0 gauge wire running from alt. to the battery and then 0 running from battery to Cap then to amp. I had 2 12's and a 15 hooked up to this amp pulling 0.8 ohms for about a week til i fried the 12's. Before i fried them after about 15 min sitting in the car my ears would be ringing for about an hour.

So so... Read Me First!!!!

This amp honestly is overrated. It supposedly puts out more power than my alpine which puts out 1000W RMS. My 2 Alpine Type Rs hit harder with my alpine amp. From the controls in my car Id say this amp truely only puts out 600W RMS @ 2Ohms at best... It only makes my car hit enough to let people know that I have subs. It is weak because with my alpine amp goin to my 2 12" Type R's it gives me breathing problems. So if you have true high quality subs do your self a favor and buy a high quality amp. I have this amp hooked up to my other car with cheaper subs.
