great price great amp
great amp. dont listen to the other people who complain it over heats they dont know how to wire it. it isnt stable at 2ohm mono so it will cut out after 20 min and over heat. it is not stable at less then 2ohm stereo so it will over heat if you try less. common sense people. learm how to wire your stuff before complaining about simple fixes. had this hooked to to 06cvx152s, wired to 4ohmsx2 i always underpower my stuff do to my daily listening volume being about 24/35 on a kenwood head unit. slammed the subs great.

People you need to read the directions, i have had this amp for awhile now, no over heating at all, i can have it pushing my 2 kenwood 12's for hours at a time, with no over heating whatsoever. The directions in the box tell you exactly how to wire it. You have to make sure the subs you have or will buy match what the amp can handle.

Pretty solid amp
Good price for the medium/good power. I try not to spend too much on amps, I always go for the $100-$200 range that are rated for what I need. I got this amp about 6-12 months ago & haven't had any issues with it. I've driven a couple hours before it starts going into protection mode and I have to turn it off till it cools down. I have it hooked up to my two Kickers CVR124 DVC, so the amp is running 540rms x 2 channel at 2 ohms to the subs & they are rated 400rms each. It pushes them pretty well, I have it turned down cause my box is coming apart and sounds like crap if I turn the bass up on the amp. It sounds really good as well. It makes my headlights dim when I turn it up. I don't have a capacitor or cell, it would be a well rounded set up if I did function/sound wise.
The only down side is that the plastic cover on top is held on by four little allen screws (one in each corner) and they can rattle out if you have it attached to the box. I would definitely mount it somewhere off by itself and just run a little extra wire.

Probably the worst purchase I've ever made.
I have to say that this amp pushes the 2 Alpine Type-R 10's I have quite nicely, when it works. It overheats very quickly and just stops working. I'm going down the road, just blasting it out, and mid-song I lose all bass for about 5 minutes while the thing cools off. On top of that, it took 6 weeks after I made the purchase to even get the thing. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and look to other manufacturers for a good amplifier.
