Great Value!
Cool head unit, definitely is a bang for the buck. Lots of features as higher models, for less.

It has great value for money, especially with the Apple CarPlay feature. It has all the inputs and outputs you’ll need for audio/video expansion which I like.
The screen looks good and is clear, but the brightness adjustment on mine doesn’t work, which makes it really hard on my eyes when driving in the dark. Also it won’t auto dim with the lights, but that could possible be an issue with my car not supplying the trigger, I’m yet to figure that out.
Also, it won’t always start from the same place when re-connecting your iPhone, but that’s a minimal issue.
But all in all, it’s a good priced, good features unit.
At the time of this review I would recommend it (29 Nov 2021).

I picked up this head unit to replace a failed factory head unit in a 2011 VW Jetta. It was on sale at a great price and Sonic included a Metra installation kit which made installing it a breeze. The head unit has every input and output you could think of and can be configured in multiple ways. For my installation, I only added an external amp and subwoofer and ran the speaker outputs through the factory amp and door speakers. It sounds great. I have only used the Apple Car Play which works great. It doesn't include a microphone for the hands-free calling which is a bit odd so make sure you grab one of those if you don't have one. The factory microphone in my VW needs an amplifier so it can't be used with this head unit. The installation directions included in the manually are comically minimalist, definitely have a school project feel to them, but they are sufficient to get you going.

It was extremely hard to find a stereo with a knob, CD player, and car play all at once for under 6-700. —even including install, this was only ~350.
Pros: starts up quick, connects quick. Inexpensive. Decent screen (not much glare, no issues with touch recognition) Good sound.
My only gripe is that install was not easier, but having a 30 year old car, it’s understandable. Shop had to do an amp bypass and didn’t even have to use the provided connector for the speakers. (The second ISO(?) block)
I guess also no wireless CarPlay, but for the price, who cares.
Bang for your buck
Ordered the stereo for the price and it had Apple/android auto which was a plus for me. makes it easier for hands free calling and navigation.
works as it should
Wiring hareness worked well.. no issues.
Love it
I love it you got Apple play and it plays cd’s when everyone don’t want them anymore and it made my speakers sound some much better
