best bang for the buck

It's a great amp,I bought a power acoustic 15" Gothic series 3000 watt max with 2ohm dvc and it pushed it great.I also recently bought a pair of infinity reference 1262's and it pushes them with ease.you have to know how to wire in series parallel because of the strange ohm loads today and you'll need a 3.0 farad capacitor also.bass reconstructor don't hurt either. All in all a great amp.hasn't shut off yet and I run it hard although I do run correct ohm load

Not bad

I purchased four 15" GW3-15's. I was doubtful about these subs at first. Then I saw them in person. They are a beefy sub with a rubber surround and stitched. The motor is doubled stacked and can handle the power. They do play the lows really good but are by no means a SPL sub. I would recommend these to anyone on a budget that wants to play loud and pound the ground knocking pictures off the walls in the house. Very clean sound out of an inexpensive subwoofer. BTW i'm pushing these with 3000 watts. Thanks for a great budget build subwoofer Sonic.

Great buy

Bought 2 of these and hooked them to a Hifonics Brutus 1516 and they sound great. High quality build and sound. I doubt they can truly run 1400w rms but theyre still very loud, especially for 99 bucks a piece. many people warned me that 15s could not keep up with the fast drum pace of the rock songs I like, but these have performed perfectly. there is no noticeable lag from the lows. A month later, I highly recommend these subs.

More than enough bang

I had one of these in a 3.0 cubic foot vented box in my 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. I've had/worked on many (about 20) different sub setups and this thing tops them all. Between the wiring, sub box, sub, and amp, I only had about $300 in this system, and that's brand new retail price. I've had setups that cost more than twice as much and still didn't hit as hard. This sub sounds very good, not as good as some I've had, but it is a nice sounding sub. As far as how hard it hits, I've scared people by parking 60 feet from their house and rattling picture frames on their walls, set off car alarms, gotten yelled at by many people. I used this in my daily driver, and finally found myself turning down the volume on this system, not because of audio distortion/overheating, but because it made my ears hurt within seconds. This thing beat a setup of 4 12" mid-range subs in my friend's car both in sound quality and volume, I did not expect that at all.

You will not find a better sub for the price, believe me I've tried and I also did not expect this one to perform like it did, you definitely get your money's worth from this. It sounds as great as it looks and will satisfy any bass head when used in the right box.
