good quality tweets

Have them hooked up to an aftermarket deck with 2 6x9s and 2 6.5s and they balance out my highs very well I didn't get anything extra just hooked them directly to the wires that came from my front door speakers and they sound great.

Added these to my existing system they gave the highs it was missing set up front set in rear used bass blockers for extra protection easy install wires could be longer overall great buy I rock them everyday

OK tweeters

They are perfect for someone who is on a tight budget. They sound decent and are way cheap, but not for those who are big on sound quality because they are a little harsh even with the proper filter. Overall excellent value but won't be buying them again

MY Review

I own 4 of these tweeters. Only problem is they sound terrible. Just a bunch of hissing sound. They are not clear at all when you turn the volume up. I am currently looking for a replacement. You get what you spend. IF you want loud hissing noise these are right for you.I noticed all this when I blew a inline fuse on my 4 gauge cable with 80 amp fuse that powers my 2 amps for the door speakers and subs. Wow they sound like crap..

Upgrading to a 0 gauge cable and 150 amp fuse for the door speakers and subs.....and new Tweeters that are not Power Acoustic.. Every Power Acoustic product I have ever owned was crap. You get what you pay for...

These tweeters are so awesome far exceeded my expectation for the dollar amount...Would so recommend these to anyone...only down size is wire length so make sure you have wire to add for install if you want them in a specific place......

Okay, scream is definitely the correct word. Honestly, in a vehicle application they are almost too much. Painful, would be appropriate. However, 1/2 hour after installing these lil' rascals in the front speakers of a 5.1 system, I had another pair on order. These reproduce ticks, symbols, and effects that I never heard before. Added a whole new dimension to my surround sound experience. And for 10 bucks...
just buy them....

Loudest tweeters ever for the price. I installed them myself, i was needing to hear the music over the muffled speakers from subs and this certainly did the trick.

Well what you need to know is that if you hook this up as it is, it will sound terrible. What Sonic Electronix doesn't tell you is that in order for these to work well, you need to also purchase the fuse that will only allow for high frequency noise to come through, instead of all ranges. In my opinion, it should have came with it, but thats my $.02

high highs

These give great highs. Ive used them in my truck to make the effects seem more surround. I have two 6x9's in the back with a 10" sub in the middle. I didnt have any factory speakers in the front so I used these. Works very well all together. Thanks Sonic. Great sound for the money. Steven

Small and powerful

This thing rocks :) With these up front, they give the overall sound a lot of depth, but you have to adjust them through your deck as they can get realllllly sharp. 6 months and still working great.

I have bought a few pair of these. And for the price they are awesome. All you really need to push them is your cd deck. They are loud. If you dont know what you want. Get these they are worth it. You dont need exspensive tweets. They will hurt your ears if you blast them too long. And these tweets will blow your mind when you put them in your ride. They almost sound like the fultrons i use to get. If anyone knows what fultrons are. Anyway try them they are sweet.

Small boogers

These tweeters do not require much power to help bring out the high notes, they fit almost anywhere and they allow for ease of installation and hiding of wires. truly an installer's dream. If your upgrade speakers need a little more clarity, theses are ideal. Adding a subwoofer to your system only aids it more as the high frequency peers through effortlessly. Love them.

I purchased these tweeters six months ago and they are still playing as good as they did the first day I installed them, if you want crystal clear and loud tweeters at a great price look no further these are the ones for you.

HUGE DIFFERENCE

I have 2 10" CVR's in a ported box and 1000 Watt Hifonics amps and when I play certain bassy songs my Kenwood and Boss 6x9's just cant keep up. I'm planning on replacing the front Boss's because there just weak but in the mean time I figured why not try out some tweeters and boy am I happy I tried these. I mounted them right to the front of the dash using the Sticky Adhesive pads that come with them and not only do the look fresh (good) they also sound amazing. Without the bass they have a slight "static" noise but once the mids and lows kick in all you hear it straight highs and its loud and clean

OMG these are horrible!!!

These were an extra thrown-in item with another purchase. I put these in the dash of my Wife's XTERRA thinking "Cool! Free Upgrade!" Ugh... wrong. These things sound uber harsh! I have to turn the HIGHS on her Sony CDX GT630UI deck to like -7 or more not to get a headache. I feel bad that I installed them in her car. There was nothing wrong with her stockers really I just figured might as well upgrade those since I upgraded everything else for her vehicle.

I'm actually on the website right now looking for another tweeter to replace these screechy, distorted, piercing things.

I'm running them only off the power of the deck, I can't stand it any higher then 33 out of 50 for volume because the piercing distorted prisoner-torchering sound that comes out of them will give ya a headache in nothing flat. I'm thinking about trying to Polk db1001's because I've got the db401's in my moto and like how the tweeter on that 4" one sounds.

Hope I've prevented somebody out there from making the mistake of acquiring these.

WOW!!!!

these are loud and clear. i bought two sets. installed them in my Dodge Magnum RT. made a big difference with 4 10 inch subs pounding in the trunk. run a 240 watt amp to them. ez install and did them custom for the best sound. Ears ring? Hell Yea

LOUD!!!

I just installed a set of the tweeters on the dash in my jeep cherokee........Lets just say once i turned the music down my ears were "RINGING" like crazy! Great buy, you wont be sorry.

These are loud. I will give them that, but i cant even hear words when i listen to songs. I guess most people will just want some fill for the tweaters, but I just bought some polk audio components dxi 6500, and the tweaters that came with that and they sound excellent. This just sounds like really loud earphones. Even for the price I wouldn't suggest to anyone. I know most will disagree with me , but I'm gonna buy a better pair.

So i bought a pair of these a month ago and they sounded great getting 50rms for the first three days but then one blew and the other one makes more raket than music. Their probly great for the price but no good on an amp.

Good @ 1st but fold under true pressure

I've had four sets of these tweeters at first i was in love. After the 3rd week I blow two sets of them. Replaceed them with two new sets same result. The volume on my Head Unit was never above 13... I was running Kicker Compent 5 1/4 in the doors and Pioneer 6x9 4 way speakers in the rear. The tweeters was mounted just inside the doors above your head. With 4 Kicker compvr 12's on a autotek 1500 and Planet audio high amp 400.4.

These look cool and have a great price, these were my first tweeters and they work great.

crystal clear sound and inexpensive

easily mounted in a number of configurations, looks good and sounds incredible. as an add on to a stock stereo they will completely revamp your system-no kidding. as a component in a high end system they hang tough with whatever you are blasting.

These Things Scream!!!!!!

I received these things as a gift just thinking they weren't really gonna make a difference in my sounds, so I eventually end up practically giving them to a relative of mine. Later that night we installed them into his truck and man.....I was blown away at the sound quality they gave out. They were literally screaming when he didn't even have an amp ran to them yet. I was sick all that night after I personally installed the tweeters into his truck.

I bought this because i had the extra money to spend and i hooked it up to the front straight from the deck. I tried cheap ones before and it failed in less than a week but this tweeter is GREAT!! it screams F***** Louddd with quality. I Recommend this product to everyone

These are some nice tweeters, I have them running off my head deck they clash well with my 6x8 in the door and rear deck they would probably sound good on an amp but they do what I need them 2 do they are a great buy.

Too much for me

They are really loud and harsh. Too much for my ears. You really have to tune the radio for them to complement the rest of the speakers. But for the money they are a steal

Got these tweeters paired up to pioneer 6x8's,These tweeter really do the job.Got them hooked up to a 400 watt amp dropped down to 2 ohms.It has great crisp highs.Got to have a good deck unit as well to make these things sing . I will be getting another set for my other car.

Great Tweeters

I have owned these tweeters for about 6 months now and they never give up. When I replaced them with my stock tweeters, they still fit in the stock bezels, just had to do some dremeling but no big deal. They are loud and scream high! I will eventually get an amp for them but they still work excellent.

The best tweeters I've owned

I have tried several tweeters and they all seem to get warm and play out very quickly when their on a amp.But now that i have the Power Acoustik NB.1 I've had no problems and they sound great and I have turned several people on to them and they like them to.

Okay, I have had the same 3 sets of tweeters for about 5 years now; I have also had them in 3 different cars. I have to say that it's the best 30 dollars I have ever spent on car audio. The tweets are extremely loud, while maintaining the ability to stay clear. It’s amazing. I forgot to mention that I have them amped, sending about 100 watts rms to each of them. Can be a bit overwhelming. Have to have adequate mid bass or good subs. If you want, quality sound at a quality price look no further. Get them while supplies last! I'm gonna add about 3 more pairs, no one will be able to sit in my truck.

One started making this very annoying scratching sound after about 4 months so I had to throw it away. Get what you pay for with these. The other one still works good.

I installed 2 pairs of the tweeters in my car straight to the deck and they rock. clear, loud, and will leave your ears ringing. Recently hooked them up to the rockford prime 300-4 amp along with some 6.5 punches and they sound just as clean and clear as the 6.5 punches. Tweeters are fine without being powered by amp but its all up to your preference. Easy to install and can be installed 2-3 different ways. The biggest bang for my buck ever

This is a good speaker for the money. If you run a lot of power without a crossover you will need to add a cap.

Clear Highs!

For 10 bucks ya cant go wrong.. these have super clear highs. they are rated to their true power bc if not i would blow them up since i have 50 watts rms running to them.. power acoustik hasnt let me down yet! these tweeters own the boss tweeters ive had. I have youtube vids of them.. Madison1828. the only bad thing is the wire is a pathetic length.. its like only a couple of inches.

Mostly Good

I installed these in my car and they sound pretty good. I have them amped and they get real loud to the point where it hurts my ears more than my subs! The only thing is I hear static/noise through them when no volume is on, and I think that noise gets increased with the volume, they still sound good and I might just need to lower my gain (nothing else on my install produces this static).

Bought these Friday, installed them in my Sentra's A-Pillars. They get loud and I'm just running them off of my headunit.

They scream and it pulls my system together with 4-6.5" speakers, 2-12" MA Audio subs, and Kicker 750.1 Amp.

It is horrible. Creates a hissing sound that ruined my whole sound system. I would not recommend this to a friend ever. I wouldn't even spend $8 on this piece of c--p.

Nothing great

I installed these in my Chevy Silverado with stock head unit and they sound very high pitch almost blown. For low to moderate volume not bad but once you crank it up they sound crappy

Tweeters are tweeters... I bought these to go with my Rockford Fosgate Prime R165x3 and R169x3 but they are so awesome I ended up not using them. But I've used PA tweeters before in the past and never had any issues with em. These should be good to go.

LOUD and CLEAR

I installed these on my A-pillar in place of the dead factory tweeters. Even wothout and amplifier, these guys are very loud. I turned up the volume as loud as I could stand it and had ZERO distortion whatsoever. Great value!

The piezo element has many advantages, but great sound is not one of them. They excel as a super tweeter. They do no work as a primary tweeter. For that you want one with a voice coil. Three stars as a super tweeter.

Little Too Scratchy
