Loud and proud

The following review is for a previous version (OV4-840).

Great buy the give my audiobahns the power they need to succeed! Very clean and crisp and great to have low and high pass filters and being able to select how much they filter. Great buy at a great price!

power acoustic amp

The following review is for a previous version (OV4-840).

this is a good amp if your not looking for incredible power. i had it pushing my mb quart 6x9s n my polk 6.5s which are both about 65 watts RMS and this amp was good for them. no distortion or cutting out just an all around good buy.

Dead after 3 years

The following review is for a previous version (OV4-840).

I wired this amp using an 8ga kicker wiring kit to 4 speakers in my car. The amp did it's job mostly. Sometimes, it would not turn on, but it usually did. After 2 1/2 years, it began cutting off more frequently. Finally, it just died. Being that it only powered 4 speakers (2 6.5" Polks in the front and 2 Polk 6x9s in the rear), I don't think I put it under any major stress. It's just a cheap amp. Overall, I am disappointed that it died after 3 years, but as the old adage goes, you get what you pay for! That is especially true when it comes to car audio.

Very pleased

The following review is for a previous version (OV4-840).

I have owned this amp a little over a year and have not had a single issue. I used it to power two rear deck polk 6x9s, front door polk 6.5"s and 1" visonik tweeters on the dash. It was connected to my factory radio via tsunami line output converter. This amp gets really loud and never cut out on me. I like to play to my music loud just about all the time. I recently got an aftermarket radio (no more tsunami LOC) and it just brought the amp to a whole other level because the aftermarket radio is supplying 4v input signal. My amp gain is less than a 1/4 turned up and it still gets super loud. I have a ton of gain to spare on the gain knobs.

I am very pleased with the super affordable amp.
