A very nice product

Bought this for it's compact design and 5 farad capacity. Also liked the fact that it matched up well with my chrome covered amplifiers and blue interior lighting setup.

Excellent Product

I have one in my setup.. With a Hifonics Brutus 1610D Mono Amp pushin 2 Cerwin Vega 12" Vmax124 subs. This capacitor works excellent. Digital readout, Easy to charge with included resistor, Looks great and now My truck headlight don't dim at all when my Truck is poundin. I would recommend this to everyone!1... A great product.

I love this capacitor. My lights on my chrysler 300 would dim alot when i was bassin hard but now i can b bumping hard and my lights dont even dim.

Pulls its weight with 5 Farad. Have a 3500W and 500W amp and this thing works. No dim lights, lowering of RPM or pull from the engine.

I Got thins capacitor in hopes to solve an inevitable need for a second battery and so far it has been holding up well, but i still need the 2nd battery to max my system efficiency. but the blue LED's look great and its holding up well; cant wait to see how it all works with the 2nd battery! Thanks to Power Acoustik for another good product, im a huge fan of their products, and thanks to Sonic for great prices, services and super fast shipping as always!

Awsome CAP

I highly recommend this product for anyone who is upgrading an amp higher than 1000w! instant sub bump! no fade on long term percussion! digitally reads your voltage! keeps battery charged as well if your bumping without your engine started!

this keeps my lights from dimming so badly. have two 1000watt amps. makes a little difference in sound quality too.(since i have such a small alternator/battery). great price!

The first cap went out in 6 months, blew the fuse. I put in another fuse and it instantly popped, the cap is dead. I bought another one and about 7 months later it did exatcly the same as the first. I did not want to wait so I went locally and bought a 1 Farad for twice the money. Substantially heavier and cleaner power. The lights do not dim.

i have this cap hooked up to my system with a 1200 watt hifonics amp and a 15" kicker L7 and this thing is great my lights dont dim at all when i get a hard hitting bass song. but for sum reason when i turn on my car and press my brakes and put my turn signal on the lights dim low but other thyan that this is a great cap

Awesome if you have a work model of the vehicle with the smaller alternator and need some buffer for your battery.

The price for this unit was great, but the performance was not good.... I have a 4000 watt digital amp and this cap should be able to handle it without a problem BUT it is not that good..... i would only use this for 2000 watt max.

Just bought this cap. got it hooked up to a hifonics brutus 1200.1d pushing 2 p3's and a 1000 watt 4 channel pretty awsome for the price.

This cap looks nice and performs well. The meterial does look a little cheap but once i actually installed it, it looked pretty nice. Works well and does what its supposed to. I would recomend it.

The power acoustics pcx-5f capacitor works amazing I originally brought it because of the digital read out but it helps a lot with my system and I would recommend this capacitor for high end car audio systems.

5 Farad Cap

I would recomend a cap before buying another battery.

Back-up That "AUDIO"

I use this cap to stiffen the blow of my 6-pill Box and it works like a charm no more dimming lights a nice extra punch when you break in there for someone. I love it and will be looking for more products.

i've had it for half a year. Wat it is made of seems cheap.. but ive given mine hell and it still works. The digital read out is cool but it stopped workin then started back again. The board that the read out broke is dangling inside of it and its still given a read out. I'd say they hold up. Voltage gauge does move much. Got 1500 hifonics an 2 twelves... i'd say buy it. 5 farad good price and holds up

worth it

I have this about 6 months. Now, have 2 amps. Hooked up to it no dimming of lights and power lost this cap. Is worth every penny. Power Acoustics.

Excellent Capacitor!

I've installed in my trunk this capacitor PA 4 months ago, which are hooked to my two kicker Amplifiers ( 08ZX350.4 = Stereo and 08ZX850.2 = MONO ) about 1400 Watts peak, this PA works like a Champ!, really excellent, no Dimming my headlights, plenty of power for my music, automatically on - off with the HU, and looks pretty cool, I'm very happy with this..Highly Recommended if you don't want to drain your battery and you have two amplifiers.

Sick Cap

This cap is awesome. I have 1000 watts running throughout my system and when I really have it bumping, this cap eliminates the dimming in my headlights. Some caps ratings are inflated, but with this one you get true blue 5 farads.

All it did was suck massive amounts of power away from my system. It actually did MORE harm than good.

This capacitor is ok just not doing the job for me that I need it to do I'm pushing 1200 rms 2400 watts peak power kole audio Amp (Gain 5/8 the way up) 2 channel bridged@ 2 ohms for my (1) kicker 15" L7 didn't stop my lights from dimming.. but it was cheap and I like the lights so ima keep it hooked up but I'm about to upgrade alternator now!
