Great mobile Dvd receiver

This is a great buy for the price. Plays dvd copies with clear resolution. Very easy menu options. SD & usb media inserts are great options for music. Requires an install kit for 06 WRX. A must get item.

Pleasantly Surprised and Extremely Impressed

I was looking for a reliable and affordable Double Din head unit for my 2000 Honda Accord Ex Sedan. And many of the reviews I had read on multiple units left me skeptical. This was the only unit where 99% of the review where positive. And I can tell you this radio is a "Best Value". I use the bluetooth with my iphone 4 and it work flawless. I can stream my music collection, Pandora Radio, dial out using both the key pad and my address book and the sound quality on all is great. I was surprised that the microphone picks up so well considering it is on the unit itself. The DVD player is great and the video quality is good. I have not tried out the video out to additional monitors nor the back up camera feature. There is an issue with playing CD's as it takes a long time to load them not sure why since DVD's load just fine. Truthfully I don't really use CD's anyway. If you are looking for a great radio at a great price this a good choice especially for the features.

Unbeatable Value

I've now had this deck installed for around 5 months, and have had no problems with it. The price is unbelievable for a touch screen with bluetooth, and it made me skeptical, but don't be!, this thing is solid. The bluetooth connects everytime and I've tried it with Iphone/Blackberry. DVD's play smoothly and don't skip when driving. Has a feature to turn off your subwoofer which is cool. overall 9.5/10. The only thing that could be better is the graphics, but really it's not bad.

Nice Headunit

This is my first touchscreen headunit so i cant compare it to a namebrand unit but the unit overall is very nice. Touchcreen is super responsive. Video playback is very crisp.

4.SDcard/USB-plays music files, video files, jpegs, personalized playlists
5.Bluetooth-works great. Pairs with my android phone. Can make and recieve calls. Pairs with iPod touch
6.Front A/V in-limited use- works well with 3.5mm to 3.5mm jack on mp3 player
7.Rearview camera- not installed as of yet :-(

Overall I feel the unit is amazing. The only thing it lacks is a real flashy UI. No personalized screensavers. So if thats what you're looking for, you wont find it here. But everything else is great. I was amazed that it plays avi's as well as other video formats straight from the sd/usb. I was also impressed with the ability to pair with my iPod. I highly recommend this unit.

Can't Get Over How much I like this Unit!

I was a little skeptical about buying this unit, but I am very glad that I did. I installed this Head Unit in a 2000 Honda Accord Ex 4 Door Sedan, I used a Metra 95-7801 and it looks great. The DVD player works great and loads quickly. The picture looks clear and works great with the backup camera I installed. As a CD player it takes a while to load but plays very well. The SD card and USB port are great for playing MP3 and WMA files and this has become my primary way to play music. The radio works great and had clear reception. The bluetooth is very good and I use it with my iPhone 4, the phone book takes a little to load but functions well. Caller ID does not transfer for some reason. Dialing out and calling is clear and seamless. I was very impressed with the onboard microphone and was at first concerned that there was no external microphone. This microphone is located on the front of the radio and picks up very well. The remote is easy to use but does have alot of buttons you don't use. Overall this is a great radio and well priced. The screen is clear and sounds great. Has three pairs of RCA (subwoofer (mono), Rear, Front) and the subwoofer rca can be shut off. No high pass filter but if you use amplifiers it make no difference. I would definitely buy this radio again.

hmmm!

the screen and everything is nice. the backup camera function works well. it gets ok loud before it distorts. bluetooth, mp3, usb all work nicely.
mono sub out was weird for me. never saw before. not enough eq adjustability for my taste. i need a radio with crossovers and slopes, this has subwoofer on or off and bass and treble and balance and fader, thats pretty much it. but it was cheaper and does work nicely.

Great Product

I have owned this product a little under a week and i am loving it already. I am real big into audio so i am familiar with alot of brands and i must say that is a pretty good double din for being a power acoustik brand. I have owned other indash dvd players before and this is by far the best. I have not had any problem with it since i had it. It does everything that it says. The Bluetooth works great and all the features are awesome. I like how i can use pandora on my android phone and it syncs to my indash via bluetooth. Also, it does the samething with my iPod touch 4th generation. SD card, flash drive and DVD works great. It has a quick response so you don't have to wait awhile for something to load. I would recommend this unit to anyone who is looking for an indash for a good price.
