Small to Belive

I had this amp pushing 2 12" BM Boschmann Sub's. Iwas very satisfy on this amp. Don't pay attention on others review on this product somebody say it can only handle 8" to 10" sub but until 2 12" sub's.
It can handle like mine in the range of 150 watts RMS up to 350 watts RMS sub's, more than that it's got little weak to handle your driver. Be sure you have to put all setting in correct matching from your HD down to EQ until to the active crossover.
it probably puts around 350 watts RMS @ 4 ohms &
500 watts RMS @ 2 ohms. I think the down side of this amp was:

1. It's get warm driven by 2 ohms load set up but not overheated or
when in protect mode.

2. It was only 70 db signal to noise ratio compare to my other mono block amp rated 500 watts RMS @ 2 ohms but it has >104 db signal to noise ratio which is louder than this amp.

The Pros:

1. the price way to affordable.

2. It's not made in china, look at the down right side of the box it say made in Korea.

3. great electronic circuit diagram when I took it out the screw at the back I need to know how it look like inside the amp.

Since I got install 2 days and Iam new with this product I gave it 3 for the Durability

Great Value not so great on power output

I got this amp due to its increadable size. I was a lil disappointed in the crossovers and power output. It could be better. But over all for value to price its a great lil amp to give anything a boost.

Big bang little amp

This amp is amazing for the price. I have it on a kicker comp 10 and it drives the hell out of it. Little to no distortion even on max settings. Replaced an 800W class A/B amp and the difference is unreal. Ran it for 2 hours at 4ohms and it was still cool to the touch. Would suggest a small cap as it can cause your lights to dim on a strong low note. No real down sides so far but ill post on any that I find. As for the power rating, I would imagine it is more likely 500RMS at 4ohms rather than the 600 that it boasts but most amps are rated on perfect bench environments.

Wattage is overrated, but amp works great if you know this...

First off, the wattage is rated WAY higher than what this thing probably outputs. Just looking at the integrated fuses on the amp, given my experience, it's pretty apparent that the maximum RMS output probably isn't going to be higher than 600-700W. With some quick searches around the web, the Soundstream version is rated at 260 X 1 at 4 ohm and 450 X 1 at 2 ohm (if you look at the manual, it essentially calls out the RZ1-1500D as the PN1.450D).

Knowing all that, it's a pretty good little amp if you need those kind of power ranges. Doesn't seem to get too warm after extended 'general' use at 2 ohm and has just an absolutely tiny size. I can't express how small this thing is in comparison to other amps out there. Decent sound quality for a subwoofer with adequate damping factor (could be a bit better, but better than most amps in this price range). Great features for the price - subsonic and remote bass knob. Appears to be well built and has a very clean look. Can't comment to long term durability yet, but have been using it for about 1 month with no issues.

If you're looking for a good, small profile solution, with 260 (4) and 450 (2) output - I'd recommend.

Power Acoustik RZ1-1500D

Let me just get started by saying this amp does NOT have 1500 watts. I'm not saying this is a bad amp, it's all metal, comes with a sub controller, and its very small. This would be the perfect amp for like a 6-8 inch 2 ohm sub or something like that. I just wanted to say that it is not as powerful as it said it is.

So small but so powerful

This amp works great for a single truck box sub. Easy to install, doesnt take up a bunch of space.

Decent Little Amp

Well its a decent little amp, and does well to power my 2 Rockford Fosgate 8" P2 DVC subs. Small footprint makes it easy to find a place to mount or hide.

1 con however, stats say largest input wire is 4 awg, its not, its 8 awg. not a big deal, adapters are easy to make or purchase.

great lil amp

i just got the amp on thursday it does seem to be alil under powered and the wire inputs are deffinantly not 4 gauge, i marked it down on durability and features because the input size for the wires is wrong and it is definantly a lil under powered

Decent amp

I have it hooked up to a 10'' Pioneer driver in custom made box for my Ridgeline.
Amp is fine. I am not sure, what Subzero knob does, but otherwise, install was very fast, and it took me only about a week to fine tune it.
Also, I expected a bit more power out of it. But it is OK for my needs.

Great Amp

Amp is great if it's tuned correctly, shipping was fast, bass knob is cool as well. If you want more power like I do go with the power acoustik BAMF 2000.1 D

great little amp

When I first pulled it out of the box I was surprised by its small size (smaller than a sheet of paper LxW) terminals hold solid, dials are easy to tune, and it definitely makes 950w @2ohm! Only 2 minor problems I have are that it gets pretty hot, so keep it ventilated, and the bass knob is pretty much on and off with hardly any control in between if you have a light touch it should be fine.

awesome

This amp is getting the job done very nicely for the cheap price tag that it has it was definitely a great purchase. If i can get the levels adjusted right finally it will definitely be rated better than the last amp i bought

Cool amp

Cool little amp that was recommended to push my 15" KickerCompD152. A bit underpowered but good enough for me to enjoy my music. When first installed I thought it was faulty because I wasn't getting any sound. It turned on but had no sound at all. Tried two different RCA and no luck. Then I connected my mp3 player to it and finally had sound. (Figured my new receiver's output signal rca connections were faulty.) After receiving signal from the mp3 player, I reconnected the amp to the receiver (before pulling the receiver out) and it actually started working! Don't know what the issue was, (Yes! everything was connected right.) but everything works fine now.

Quite a suprise....

While I didn't purchase this through Sonic, I'll still put together a review since I currently have this in my other car. My other car, a small Pontiac Solstice..(very tiny 2 seater)...Well I missed having music while driving, problem is THERE"S NO ROOM..... for much of anything. So after a exhausting search, I broke down and went to a local audio shop for help. (I usually do a lot of my own installation)... Since I am the only one that drives that car, we adjusted the seat for me, and we managed to put two shallow mount Kicker 12's in smallish ported boxes behind the seats. It's very tight, but it works....Couple of days after installation, I took a trip, over 300 plus miles, 5 and a half to six and a half hours....This little amp got warm, bout it. Pounded all the way, I was deaf when I got out of the car, but really happy..lol... I seriously think most of the heat generated was from the sun for the bit I had the top down. This amp is so small, it's mounted on my armrest right next to the e-brake. (It takes up a good bit of the armrest mind you, but it was the only viable location). I wanted it there so it was inside the air conditioned part of the car with me. That little car is so close to the ground the floor boards get really hot on long trips so a low mount location wasn't in the cards. It's been several months later and it still rocks those two 12's like no one's business. First thing I said when the guy showed it to me was "are you serious"??..only because of it's size...But I'm pleasantly surprised. I'm tempted to get two more to run two pairs of 12's I just ordered from Sonic for my suv, but I'm sketchy about it providing serious power to that size of system that I am putting together for that particular vehicle because I'm going for a bit more oomph....(shallow mounts just don't punch as hard as regular woofers..imo)..Great amp, great price, and it'll really surprise you.....You won't be disappointed. The only reason I didn't rate the "ease of use" is simply because I haven't adjusted a thing since installing it. It' cant be any worse or better adjusting than other amps are. You just need a tiny tiny screwdriver.

Solid little amp

I bought this little guy to push a pioneer 10" in the back of my wrangler. Makes my 10 absolutely bump. I'm almost shocked at how good it sounds for the size. And for $94 you really can't go wrong. The gain control is nice but the wire it came with didn't fit right so I just made my own. It would've gotten a 5 star rati if not for the wire not fitting right...

its pretty good but..

This is a pretty powerfull lil amp.. I have it pounding a Pioneer 12 inch rated at 600rms.. Its pretty good.. BUT it accepts like 6 gauge minimum... You have to buy those terminal reducers.. Other than that its pretty cool. Ive had this product for about a year.. No problems what so over

It's small

This thing is tiny and it delivers. I have the gain way down cause it puts out too much power for my sub. Bought in preparation for a sub upgrade

Update to Power Acoustik RZ1500.1D

I change my rating on this product to 5 star it's been a year and 4 months everyday used in another set up. I bought the NVX NSW 122 first edition i got the last pair 2 for $99.98 I put them in ported box 2.46 cu. ft and tune to 38 Hz small box run off Razor RZ1500.1D they matched each other sound quality bass is perfect.
You must correctly tune this amplifier to performed well and here are my settings subsonic filter set in the middle, low pass filter set to 35 Hz, bass boost set to 1/4 and gain match to eq out put.
This amp pound both of my 2 NVX NSW with extra deep cycle Battery BBL 26AH

worked for a while.....

had this in my truck powering two 12" alpine type S subs. one day i noticed the bass was gone and subs were not firing. the amp lights up still like it is getting power. i pulled the fuses to see if they were burnt out and they were fine so I put them back in. started up the truck and the subs were going again for about 30 seconds until i turned up the volume slightly then again just gone.... amp still has power, everything seems fine but just doesnt work. I guess for the price even if it lasts a year its not bad but it is not great. also the built in crossover can't be set very low so may be an issue for you if your head unit doesnt have one built in.

Amplifier is small and lightweight which is a plus but the amplifier does cut in and out if used for a long period of time

Powerfully little amp with clean signal

I was looking for an amp specifically with a small footprint, as .y truck is extremely limited on space. This little amp was a perfect fit for my needs. I have it powering one 10" sub rated to 1500 watts, and it does not dissapoint. Consistently delivers crisp and solid sound at all ranges, and volume levels. Will most likely pick up another sub and one of these.

Sweet amp

I am running this small amp on 2 12" pioneer and it rock the crap out of them. I had it running my factory 8" and blew it up rock hard. I am glad I didn?t mess up the amp. I have been in the car audio for 27 years and was very doubtful about this amp because of its size but it does the job extremely well. I even bought the 5 channel in this sires and was confident with that purchase also.

Impressive and Trustworthy

I have had this amp for a little over 2 years now.
I have had it run 10s, 12s, and currently, it is running a Skar DDX 15 at 2ohms.
I have to admit, I didn't think it would last very long or give out as much power as it has.
I will definitely be getting a better amp, but this one is well worth your money!
